Saw quite a bit of empty seats on TV when watching the Challenge cup final and there was a crowd of over 78,000 then.
during kick-off, kick for goals, bombs maybe?

Over 13,000 sold for the kc game as of yesterday (Monday).I got a family ticket today for the south stand, and according to the ticket office there are not many tickets left for this stand.
That's because the middle tier - the club Wembley seats - weren't on sale. Therefore if the holders of the Club Wembley seats don't want to go then they can't be sold, there are just empty seats. For the Challenge cup the RFL can only sell the lower and upper tiers.
RL internationals weren't sold as part of the "Club Wembley" package, so the RFL can sell the middle tier for this game, making it look fuller.
Are RL games opted out of the Club Wembley package or are they part of them but the ticket holders don't go if they aren't interested hence the empty seats? If they weren't sold as part of the package then why aren't they on general sale?
The WORLD CHAMPS should be the main game
put those other 2 park footy sides as the curtain raiser
They'll still be world champions for the next two years Parra
Cant say im too familiar with Wembley, but looks about mid to late 30ks at this point?
Crowd is a bit disappointing, I think they would have got more if they were separate matches.
Hopefully there is 40k for the Final and they do not close an entire stand again!
Regardless of the attendance, the publicity and buzz generated nationwide from playing this game at Wembley means it was completely worthwhile and it's a must to play there in the future. I reckon today's match, in front of 40,000 at Wembley and live on national TV will have done more for international RL than a decade of matches in front of 20,000 at Wigan.
