Can't remember the last time I tried to get walk-ups to a game at Leichhardt... Pre-purchase means at least you know if you're going to get a ticket or not before you head out the door. Evidently, you don't have to spend $65 if you don't want to, but you shouldn't expect to get a walk-up ticket to a match at Leichhardt unless it's pissing down with rain.

just another example of humphreys being a f**kWIT CON-MAN. leichhardt oval holds 21,000 (safely) although for some reason they are saying 18,000 now. wests tigers normally has around 6,000-7,000 members. so how is it going to be sold out by members only? he gives the impression that it could be sold out by members only, which makes the morons panic (and there are alot of moron tiger fans) and makes them pay $65 for a ticket when they could have only paid $20. its also another way to make the wt membership numbers higher so it looks like he is doing a good job (WHICH HE ISNT)

Great idea by Humprehys, anything to get more interest in Leichhardt Oval and the Tigers the better (Not that it really needs it unlike Campbo). He is a smart cookie.

Maybe this will be a pre-cursor to more games at the old girl.

Well it worked in getting a massive increase in membership so good on them.

Clarke said the Tigers had about 3000 more members than the corresponding time last season. They finished with 9154 members.

this $65 membership isnt bad value look at it this way the members pack would be valued at close to $50 and last year ga tickets at leichhardt i heard cost $30 so its over $80 value also no matter what the game would be sold out the only thing that could stop a monster crowd showing up is atm the forecast is rain but people will still show

cant believe the flack directed at Humphreys, the guy has came up with a great marketing plan to get a massive crowd for our first home game and he comes under fire!!!

Iam a season member but I think the one game membership is a great idea, you get the punter in for one week, he likes what he sees so he wants more.

As for the place being a tigers only crowd thats crap, their will be plenty of seats on offer for our friends down in the shire who want to see the tiger old boys do battle with our mob.

Its is a massive buissness now and we are lucky to have probably the best CEO in the league running the show. How many teams do you think will get first round sell out?????
