I have no idea who the 1 and 7 will be so I reckon we've got a bit of work to do to get back to even last year's finishing position. Not having 1/2 of the spine settled isn't going to help the team gel, early on at least.

As for Boyd, I would prefer Hassan Saleh and Ahmed Bajouri alternating as fullback for the Tigers than Boyd.

Love the my team is better than yours debate. It's all a pointless argument until the season actually starts. Who knows how good bennett will have the knights firing this season. There is every chance that this knights team will perform better than the tigers just due to the bennett factor. I dont really rate any of the tigers players to be honest, they are all pretty over rated except for lawrence.

2 years in a row he's cost them by gifting field position to the saints (out on the full) and warriors (running on the last in his own end).

That said they'll finish top 4 so are probably a better bet than the knights

He's f**ked up royally when its mattered the last 2 years. And lets not forget the Tigers melt down against the Roosters in the first final of 2010 either.

Thats why I say the Knights go further. Lots of pressure on the Tigers this year. I don't think they will handle it.

I think the Tigers will be genuine contenders, but i agree the Knights will take a year or so to get there, just like the Dragons did with Bennett. Knights fans are getting so cocky lately just because they have a few new players and a new coach and think they will win it straight off. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't make the top 4, but i'm pretty confident they will make the finals.
