Moltzen, the problem he has is that he lacks heart, unless he gets a heart transplant nothing is going to change with him, bench spot at best.

Potter being a former fullback wouldn't possibly play Moltzen at fullback. That's one plus.

I'm praying he gets dumped from first grade at least. Not bench worthy imo.

Yeah when you think about it this way he really needs to be dumped. Positions he can play and peope who are better choices:
Fullback - Tedesco, Simona
Centre - Simona, Thomson
Halback - Miller, Anasta
Wing - Utai, Nufo, Kirobete

I thought he had value because he can cover all three of these spots if needed but i guess having Simona on bench would be better op.

Tim in my opinion isn't a true utility. A utility is a guy who excels in his chosen position but can play several other positions and handle them. Tim does not really excel in any position, and as a result he falls into the category of bits and pieces player. There is little difference between him and Humble in terms of what they bring to the team, Moltzen on gets the gig because he is a club junior who was brought in because he had some potential which he is still yet to realise.

NSW Cup halfback for 2013 in my opinion, back up for Miller, although if Miller is a flop next year we should buy a halfback for 2014.

Iam the odd one out here, I think we need him in the 17 for his speed and attacking game.In 2012 he was not on his Pat Malone playing badly. Iam willing to give him another chance under a new coach who puts sensible structures in place and gives him mandatory goals to achieve

The thing is he needs a role but where do you play him. I don't want to risk him at 1 again. It is too critical a position to give him another go. I feel the same way about the halves.

His speed is a huge asset but where does he slot in.

Koro and Nofo are quicker and stronger, Teddy is quicker and plays with more courage.

Anasta and Miller are likely slower but if they are playing Benji is just as quick as Moltzen and he will be doing the running rather then organising most of the time.

On one hammy Rowdy is quicker and Ayshford is maybe half a yard slower then Moltz but a shed load stronger.

Utility options are really Utai for his pinch hitting power runs or Bodene for his true utility value.

Moltzen is also on serious coin in comparisson with his talent which makes it even more vital to get him off the books

In Moltzens defence he was hardy ever left at the one position that he may have been ok at and that was 7., the whole number one failure was due to sheenius as was the Benji 7 bs

Spot on as usual Smeg.

I would also play Siro at centre before Moltzen.

With injuries the way they are he will play plenty of top games in 2013 but I do agree he takes up a lot of cap space for a player that has plenty of players on less coin challenging him for the same positions.

I just think Potter could make a difference to a lot of players or maybe Iam just dreaming.

I hope you are riabout Potter making a difference, I just have my doubts.

Either way I expect some tantrums in the coming season from a few players whose ethics have never been questioned when warranted

There is talk that a english SL team Hull coached by Peter Gentle is after Scott Prince,if they miss out on him than Miller is there target. That would leave us with Anasta,Moltzen and Benji as our half back options...hopefully the new coach has different ideas and Miller is in his plans.

and to think you guys fought hard for him..

he could have been our problem....

Humpty and Sheens fought hard
Humpty....who thinks moving the speed ball under the fan will reinvigorate players the same way a new coach with new ideas would

He's off contract, same as beau was.....but they both blew their trumpets about new deals they were led to believe they had, but Humpty still has the contract drawer in his desk firmly locked

Is it confirmed that Moltzen has put pen to paper? Hopefully Humphreys has his contract locked away in the drawer that Beau's was.

Heard something very interesting yday. When the little timid charlatan was signed by St george benji (through tauber) threatened to walk out if little Timid was not re-signed. Dead set, the more I am hearing about Benji and his ego the more i think we either need to f**k him off or someone to tell him how it is, that is, he is 28 and he has a ton of unfulfilled potential given his amazing talent.

He should stick to being a 5/8, doing what he does best, not securing contract extensions for hacks like moltzen and ryan, sooking on 9, blowing up at sponsors because they didn't discount a dwelling by enough etc etc.

I got some mail yday that Potter's biggest concern is what to do with Benji. No one at the club has had the balls to stand up to him and as a result it is now at the point where Benji decides who plays, who coaches, where they play etc etc. Make no mistake the punting of ryan and heighington was done by Humpty to smash up Benji's old mates club. I also understand that Benji is the cause of division at the team. After losses, the likes of Farah, Woods, Fulton were pretty devastated and hurt whilst Benji and sleau were texting before they were showered teeing up where they would be going out.

It is what Fifita alluded to in one of his early Sharks interviews and stemmed from the training incident where Fifita put Benji on his arse and Benji resented it. Hence Fifita f**ked off to Cronulla and Gibbs (aligned with Fulton) suffered the same fate. The good news is the 2 factions are now split 2 a piece in Woolooware so the division could very well manifest itself there.

It is certainly sounding like that Gronk
The club is apparently in a holding pattern until Moses and Brooks are ready
They are THAT good according those in the know
I am hearing they will spend very little time in the 20s and will be virtually sent straight to NSW Cup to toughen them up and thence into first grade back end of 2015

Ask Penrith and Gold Coast about Jordan Rankin and HArry sejika ...who were THAT good according to those in the know
