I believe that our senior playing group has held way too much sway over vital decisions made by the club. This belief is because of several factors and some knowledge of the interior processes and failings of the Longmuir era

The will flesh out under a nw coach though.

On another note a poster who so fervently beat his cyber meat over what a great player Tim Moltzen is should be wary of questioning credibility

Criticism of Marshall for his form? Hell yes, thats part of the problem. These guys still think they were doing alright with all the reshuffling of the deckchairs. Marshall is our supposed star player, he is now a long term player with essentially much the same influences season on end for some time now (ie coach, key fellow players etc). His form has been bad and his consistency atrocious. There was some good games but not what you'd expect of a star player. The quicker it is realised, the quicker it can be fixed. Stop living in the dream world. The positional change to halfback was a crock but you'll never hear that from Sheens will you.

As to Marshall on his ego, who knows? I havent met the bloke. My only comment is that the mention of his ego and influence at WT have come from many sources. Despite that, Marshall remains a good figurehead for WT promotion.

Farah? I dont blame him if he has supposedly spoken up and told WT to get a proper halfback and fix things for 2013 season or he'll go. He has ben shouldering the team for a long time now and can see as much as anyone else how the lack of a organising halfback has crueled our chances for endless seasons. He knows that would never be remedied under SHeens and he may well still go elsewhere at the end of his current contract. Hint WT- name our new coach asap and settle this Sheens standoff so Farah can see where the club is heading and get a sense of the new coach's thinking.
