Whether this particular incident has any merit to it or not, I still believe and am told by more knowledgable people than I, that he is a ticking time bomb.

I find it hard to believe. Actually I don't believe it could be true.

But if it is true, he would be very well aware of what the consequences will be.

Interesting to see how the CEO handles it if he's proven to have done wrong.

This all stinks to high heaven.

I truly can't imagine it being true.

If it is proven there would obviously be sanctions. Equally, if true, it would be such bizarre behaviour it would warrant some psych investigation.

But there are clearly a number of people who have taken an outrageously angry position against Tahu as a result of his stance. This smacks of a political exercise against him to me.

Equally there is also obviously bad blood between that team and Tahu in light of the other incident.

Pretty sure NRL Players will strongly reconsider playing in the tournament again.

just a question.

If he is off contract and SAY he hasn't signed as yet, is it Parra's problem to defend him?

This is a perfect opportunity for DA to have a swipe at tahu, and put the boot in. Somehow I don't think he will stoop to tahus level though.

At the end of the day it's just an allegation so no point pronouncing him guilty when we don't know any facts. Crikey, Brett Stewart just had the worst year of his life based on an allegation that was not true. Fevola up here just got cleared of an allegation that seemed to not be true.

It's easy to head hunt a high profile sportman and say what ever you want because you know the media are going to run with it based on pure speculation.

Tahu has denied the allegations and I'm prepared to believe him until proven otherwise.

its hard to imagine he'd do it - but its also hard to imagine someone would just make it up

from the article, it looks like tahu was on the angry pills over teh weekend .... I wonder some some upstart amateurs see such an event as a chance to try and show up some big names and get into a bit of niggle???

maybe the kid was being a c***??? - and maybe tahu is realising sometimes you say a descriptive word to go with it without actually having a tremendously villifying undercurrent .... who knows?

i'd like to trust tahu - but i'm finding it increasingly difficult to be blindly supportive of the guy these days ..... i'll give him the benefit of the doubt - and I'll certainly believe even if he said it, it doesn't necessarily make you the devil

In a separate incident against United, Tahu was also accused of lashing out with a kick and was later sin-binned for five minutes for a swinging arm against Mungindi.
Club officials and supporters stormed the field in protest before Tahu was sin-binned.
there was obviosly some bad blood so will wait and see what happens before making judgement.

I find the quoted incident to be just as bad with people running on the field to protest about something that happens on the field. Isn't this sort of thing treated harshly in normal competitions and can easily blow up to more serious matters.

What sort of mickey mouse tournament was this and why would any high profile players play in this?
