Strider, in just a few words you have just revealed all the skills required to run the NRL. I will support you in becoming the one and only true leader of the NRL and saviour of the greatest game of all.

It's about time we got rid of all the intellectuals (without consciousness embodied) running (ruining) this game and return this game to the fun park of true blissful entertainment it really is.

Wherever you go strider throngs of RL supporters will honour you in such a way that everyday will be seen as just another glorious Palm Sunday.

Hip hip hooray for Strider:clap::clap::clap:

 That's right, I remember his suspension from his final game now...

At least he gets to miss the matches before the real season starts, and has less chance of getting injured in a shorter pre-season now as well.

why is the All Stars game considered something to be suspended for? ... I thought it was more about being good for the game etc etc .... make it fun, not business

Nice thoughts Ghost Boy, and tbh, I think Strides is on the right track.
But seriously, let's get back to reality.
As much as your sentiments are positive, and filled with enthusiastic and patriotic vitriol, we all know that sentiments like that died the day the SL AND ARL war ended.
It's all about lining the pockets of media barons these days.
It will never change, I'm sorry to say.
Don't kid yourself otherwise.

He pleaded guilty and so the suspension should stand. It is an NRL sanctioned game and so should be included in the coverage of the suspension.

Rules shouldn't be ignored just so everyone can feel good. You do the crime, you do the time.

Aren't you still nailed to the cross as a loony????

Crikey HJ, we are dealing with fictitious man made imagined/invented out of thin air constructs that are fantasies, illusions, delusions.

Timana is a conscious-living sentient MAN, no f....... statute or bill or rule has a higher standing than a MAN.

The Rules can't walk or talk because they are dead-corpses so how did Timana commit a crime...???

Hello Rule... please come forward to the witness box to plead your case...

Timana wants to meet his accuser!!!

Hello Rule...... are you the injured party???

Where are you Rule???

Anyone home?????

"WILL RULE PLEASE IMMEDIATELY COME FORWARD TO THE WITNESS BOX"!!!!

Sh*t..... no one home!!! Rule can't appear for itself......

HJ... Rule does not exist so it means there is a conspiracy to deceive Timana into believing that Rule exists, has a higher standing than Timana, and if we look very carefully we will find a bunch of criminals in the dead corpse NRL running a scam to dupe Timana into accepting a force of law that has no substance to back Rule.

Even worse, no one will come forward from the crime syndicate to take full responsibility for Rule, to say they are the injured party who goes by the name of Rule, to act as the aggrieved party putting his/her energy/power of creation into this matter involving Rule and who is claiming damages from Timana for the harm Timana has caused to Rule!!!!!

So what the f... is going on here HJ????

What planet are you on boy??????

What bullsh*t are you peddling???

What Are You Smoking???

Its clear Timana can go ahead and play in this game and no MAN will get in the way of Timana playing unless he/she will take full-responsibility under their full commercial liability stating that they have a higher standing than Timana, meaning that All Men Are Equal But Some Are More Equal Than Others....

The only way Timana can be stopped is if twelve peers of his community (tribe/village) who live in his community will come forward under COMMON LAW representing Timana's community in a trial by elders/jury, with both parties to this matter present.... Rule and Timana... and after the trial, the 12 members unanimously agree that Timana can't play, has injured Rule and must pay the penalty to fit the crime he committed...

Now remember this HJ... a 3rd party not involved in this matter can't represent a Rule which can't walk or talk or think or feel or contemplate, observe, negotiate, contract for itself. Only a living sentient MAN can represent himself/herself and he/she must be a first party directly involved in this claim/case/matter against Timana otherwise we are on the Yellow Brick Road caught up in a Mad Hatters Tea Party full of con-artists scheming to defraud and fleece Timana of his fruits of labour (substance/equity).....

If Timana wants to play in this game he can and no one will stop him unless they are prepared to lose everything they own and so much more....

We (the people) sure can get rid of them Suity and if there was a large enough backing by the people acting as the community of Rugby League for the people we can get rid of all these Masonic dickheads and return this great game to the people.

I can bring together a team of experts (not bound by/to the bar) and all together we the community of Rugby League can create a precedence that will cause shock waves all over the earth.

It's time we took matters into our own hands but I won't get involved unless a very large flock of supporters came together to act as the community of Rugby League and will stick this out until we have wiped them out which won't take very long.

Then we can decentralize Rugby League so that it never again can be taken over by a power group elite and run this sport as their own.

as much as it would have been good fo rhim to play, i tend to agree with you HJ. If it is an official game then the normal rules should apply. Not good for Tahu, but that's the way the cards go. Keeps him right for the eels though i guess.

I think the whole area surrounding suspensions should be looked at. A weeks suspension can be a grand final or an exhibition match or trial game, doesn't seem fair.

Games should carry a points system like the penalties, where a GF = say 150 points, SOO 125, club game 100, trial 50 etc.

I though this was explained with the $onny Bill departure, but because the IRB and RLIF are affiliate sports bodies suspensions in one carry over to the other. Hence an NRL suspension can affect the playing of games in Any IRB affiliated competition. I think Brad Thorn was suspended in his last league game so had to serve it out in the Trials of the Super 14?

I honestly though Timana served out this suspension.

I agree with you HJ.

However, I believe that in final series matches, players should be given the option to pay fines, instead of missing matches, with the fine money paid into a 'promotion of the game' fund and allocated to Country Rugby League in NSW, QLD and developing nations.
1 game =$50,000..

PS...Who knows if Timana would have been selected? How can this game be used as part of his suspension?

Imho ... there is no financial value that can be attached to any particular misdemeanour as the potential arbitrary interpretations are just too many, therefore inviting confusion and controversy. Made the mistake = do the time.

The side is being voted on at the moment. They released a "team" based on votes up to a certain point recently suggesting he would be in the team....

how uncharactaristic of league's joke of a system to dampen a good spectacle...

AFTER ALL it is not an NRL match, but an EXHIBITION game.
What if it was Kangaroos v Wallabies as has been mooted many times...Would it count then??
If I am not mistaken, suspended players are allowed to trial in NSW Cup teams?
