Hey Jokey, having him and Mad Dog on one edge makes it a stink load easier to pick who'll be first tryscorer. Me = $$$

Won't last much longer though, will it? Having a guy concede possession after possession leading to tries and blaming the other winger can only last so long, even around here.

Right?

Still if this is more important to you than what's best for the team, then f**k you.

We were rubbish and will finish last if we keep it up. Roosters will bounce back and fast cos they have marquee talent to burn. We re-sign A 34 year old has been centre noone else wants! What the f###. That money would have most likely got us Crocker or Eastwood for the season. I bet that we aren't one of the clubs trying to sign Dave Taylor either. No that would require vision and releasing some of the nuffies we all know are rubbish, starting with Rogers and Cross. Cross continues to disappoint and is continually put on his back in tackles, and easily.

Tsk tsk little fella, you might upset your tummy getting yourself so worked up.

Fact is champ, Jimmy Mac has had one aweful game in his entire FG career and it happened on Sunday. Id like you to point out to me where in the previous 2 seasons he has "conceeded possession after possession" and then please let me know when he has ever come out and blamed "the other winger" for any mistake he has made

Your agenda to sh*t can him at every turn despite dozens on here proving just how fanciful your pathetic comments are again and again borders on the rediculous.

Sad that you think me pointing out just how much of a wanker you are has any detremental effect on the team. You are either mentally ill or have a very savvy drug dealer to cause such misplaced self importance.

Come back when you finish primary school and learn how to be an adult.

I've pointed it out before, chump. And if it's not true, why are sprouting that I've got history of saying it before?

And it's hilarious that every time it's brought up the comeback is, without fail, "point out to me where it's happened before." Like you're whacking off to the sound of yourself saying it. Hell, you were probably struggling to hide your chubby at the ground just thinking of telling me to "point out to me where it's happened before" when you got back to your place.

Shall I just ignore your failed comprehension of the blame part? Yeah, I'll be easier on the genius portion of the group these days.

Without getting into the hidden agendas by anyone, Mac has been our most consistent winger over the last couple of years.

Whilst not a world beater, he is at least consistent with last Sunday the exception. At this stage he would be my first choice winger and miles ahead of Uate

I don't have an agenda, WD. It's out in the open that I want this team to win. One guy can score a try out of nothing while the other concedes them out of nothing. People are only just noticing since someone had the gumption on here to go against the wind for once.

Isn;t that the same player??

How many has McManus conceded over his career, compared with how many he's saved?

Uate at this stage is a liability. He cannot catch a ball, he failed to tackle the Titans player in the south west corner who scored, he failed to take runs from dummy half to relieve the pressure from the forwards who were choking with the heat, he positional play is ordinary.

He is atheletic and has potential but is no where near first grade material.

Prince sussed him out big time and Uate failed to deliver again.

I hope he comes good but on present form he is potential (only from an attacdking perspective) and nothing else

Well I'd just like to weigh into this debate as well and put it on record that I think James McManus is complete sh*t.

Thought it for a long time.

I could think of at least 15 other wingers from rival clubs I'd prefer at the Knights on the wing than the Luke Covell without the goalkicking poor excuse we have.

Sounds alot like our halfback situation too! ( Not including Mullen )

Basically every team in the competition has a player better than ours in those positions. And it isn't even funny anymore.

You sprout plenty of crap on here DMC but it doesnt make it true. For example you once mentioned that you've never seen Jimmy make a *edit:tackle break but it was proven to you by myself that he had indeed made 50+for that year alone. Funny how you disappeared from that particular arguement soon after.

Im sure your pecker just about popped the seams on your jeans in excitement when you actually saw him have a bad game that couldnt be argued against. While I know full well he isnt a world beater, hell he is average for a FGer even, but he sure as sh*t isnt the nuffy you make him out to be.

Yes I am aware most on here blame Uate for letting in tries but the fact is Jimmy saves a tonne to make up for the relative few he has let in so it is justifyably looked over by the same supporters on here.

You think he's crap. Fine, your entitled to your opinon but dont try and back it up with bullsh*t.

He's made 22 linebreaks in his career

i think mcmanus is solid defensively... but offers little else. his defensive game last match was a large blemish on an otherwise quite shiny and clean defensive wrap sheet.

i have to agree that his positioning is poor at times in regards to attack (although he's just as often in the right position too... but it does stand out when he isn't). i'd like to see how much pace he has this year, he has quite evidently slimmed down a lot compared to last years model.

as the week has gone by i've decided that aku is worth persisting with. we may as well go for broke this year and either have a break-out year where our youngsters step up, and we cruise into the 8... or a miserable year where they don't step up, and at least we know where we stand in regard to personnel. there's no point in being "almost there" and getting 9th again.

Only the first game really but to be honest i saw NOTHING new from off season training..they STILL let in a try before half time more times that not and..if my under 15s went tackling like the knights did for the brad myers try..id haul them off the field to spend some time on the bench to think about how they were lucky Not to break their girly fingers with the jersey grabbing.
Having said that..at the game it was oppresivily hot and as cartright said after the game...wasnt there a rule about being in qld and NOT playing in the afternoon???
prince was always going to work us over....early in the season but we cant let the away games slip

Heart breaking to watch......

Heart breaking to watch......
especially considering the players who missed the tackles, Ben Cross, DeGois, Kidley.

Just on Cross, really have not been impressed with what I've seen and would rate his signing in the same category as Reynoldson atm to be honest. Paid massive, massive overs for a journeyman
