f**k we need to learn to stop being complacent and falling asleep as soon as we get a lead. That's when we should be firing up the most, to keep that momentum and control of the game.

Fair enough it's hot and tiring out there but they need to wake up if we want to win this.

Pretty terrible performance all up from us imo. The defence fluctuated so much, some instances we were really strong and manned up, others we let in pathetic soft tries :?

Uate had a shocker, Rogers didn't do anything did he?

I don't see much difference between the two teams bar the two competent halves the Titans have.

Ben Rogers in the halves - the fans say no.

Simpson is past it I'm afraid to say.

Gidley had a poor game by his standards, didn't get involved enough.

Can't understand why Taia was off for so long. He was our best defender, and no surprise they scored 5 of their 6 tries in the 30 minutes he was on the bench.

Rogers was uncited unless he was doing something crap.

Uate still has problems.

McManus had a shocker.

Mullen ran the ball a lot but just didn't seem to have many ideas. He should've been looking to put players through short gaps more.

Pretty disappointing performance.

Oh no, Rogers was there.

He was there to miss tackles and watch Prince run by him.
He was there to give away stupid penalties.
He was there to kick the ball out on the full.
He was there to put up on of the most useless bombs seen.

The only way he would have been more useless is if he was the corner post... would probably be a better defender then...

Scott, Walsh, Stig, Ben Cross in the halves > Rogers.

I thought Tolar was great in the opening minutes, just hard straight running.
Cross didn't seem to add much.
Gids needs to be more involved.
McManus had an uncharacteristically poor game with his hands.
The backs saw very little ball, especially with space to move.
Mullen ran all day or rolled the ball along to the ground to the outside.
We severely missed Dureau's direction.
Pato had a solid game.

No one else really rates a mention.

Uate was poor. His usual bad reads in defence - however he was not helped at all by his inside men drifting in field. At least twice he was isolated trying to mark three men.

Too many stupid mistakes - fair enough to wrap up the ball in the tackle, but trying to secure it by wrapping both arms around it and wrestling with it is going to get a penalty every time.

Rogers is not a five-eighth, and Mullen is not a half. We had no direction in attack for a lot of the game, and we couldn't get out of our own half to save ourselves.

Seemed pretty biased against us... I forgive them for today though because it was deserved, but stuff like "dubious" "Piggyback" "scrappy" "bizarre" for us and then "brilliant" "sweetly" "try of the season" for them :lol: They also gave Uate one point!!

One thing that made me lol though was:

74 min: Diabolical last tackle kick from Mullen sees the Titans with possession on halfway.

76 min: More rubbish kicking this time from Ben Rogers for the Knights. Titans to go on the attack.

I'm probably just in a bad mood :lol:

Won a bucket-load on Uate to be first tryscorer though. Money in the bank, that guy.

That was a pathetic game by us, I thought we had better in us.

Rogers needs to be gone and he needs to be gone yesterday. The only thing he did was kick it 30 meters sideways and the other out on the full. He did nothing at all, to much pressure on Mullen to do everything.

Uate...... He can be brilliant in attack but he is to much of a liability in def. I know alot of people on here give the guy massive wraps and even I may have been one of them but until he can learn to catch a dam ball or how to stay on his man he needs to be kept away from a first grade jersey.

The forwards really need to step up in this game and they didn't. When we needed meters up the middle the backs were running the whole set and we only ended up with 20 meter gains, that must change or we will be celler dwellers this year.

All in all the team went to pieces, even with a 14-0 lead I felt it was only a matter of time and that if the Titans found there feet we would get done and, well, we did.

Next week against the Sharks we really need to step up. Duruea or Walsh must be in the side to relieve some pressure off Mullen. I know the side can play better then what we showed, I just hope the can prove it to us next week.

Well that was very dissapointing, after being up 14-0 to get soundly beaten i think questions should be asked of the side. Rodgers should go, need Scotty in the halves nad Mullen back at five-eight.
But it is only the first game so no to need to get too angry/upset over it.
