We could have moved Marata to centre and gave Bryce more game time. Or put matto at centre and given Bryce or Greg more game time off the bench.

You want to interrupt the combo of Marata stating at lock, who moves to the middle and Matto booms for 40+ mins ? That's a big reason why we smashed teams last year.

You say I defend for the sake of defending. I say you whinge without actually realistically looking at options. You don't weaken a strength in the middle just because your centre is a bit grabby. You replace him, but if you can't replace him then you need to make do. Adjust pattens around him. It's just not as simple as you make it sound I reckon.

I mentioned cini too but you failed to address that.

well no, greig and Carty in 23 aren’t the same in 22, because they’ve been given decent minutes and have gotten match fitness. Amazing what a little game time and being shown some faith by the coach does to a player.

I gave u many options, let’s agree to disagree.

Maybe we can agree on one thing thou. That my options have a bit more merit than what BA wanted to do. It’s just a shame that our 5/8 found exceptional form and it didn’t allow Ba to execute his game plan.

One final thing on the matter. Waqa should have been dropped in 2021. He was diabolical back then and has become even worse. Just a shame it took the coach so long to figure it out.

Centre is grabby? Is that his only downfall. He had hands like feet, couldn’t read the play, couldn’t set up his winger and was/is lazy. Not sure he had anything going for him.
