TLT - Round 7 v Wests Tigers at Commbank - Annual Easter Monday Clash

Also expecting the late switch for Ryley not to start the game... putting him up against Api in the first 20mins might not be best for his confidence, when he's been the only bright spark we've really had this season.

Will be interesting to see what role Walker plays and when - either with Moses in the team, or again without.

Hmm, Moses named at 7... I'll still be suspecting the late swap for DHawkins right up until game day. Maybe Mitch just really wants to go up against Luai, to stake the claim for an origin spot?

It's hard to tell with no Cup game whether Lane, Offa, and Guymer have all been "dropped" or are "injured". Lane and Offa hopefully a wake up call, Guymer maybe for a break?

Williams back = good. Sam back = good. Doorey back = fairly good. What's the go with Matterson being named among the reserves not the bench, after returning to NRL last week?

Edge forwards being Tuilagi and Kautoga = f**king woeful, and a defensive risk. It's like painting two arrows on the field saying "Wests Tigers run your plays here and here" 😂.
wtf you talking about no cup game. We play Magpies on Saturday. Galvin is playing. Have you been hiding today?

*Having seen the Cup team list* Glad Lane and Offa are straight dropped for a wake up call, and Guymer presumably injured or having a week break? What's the go with Matterson being named in Cup after returning to NRL last week - technically "dropped" as well?

You seem to be well versed on coaching an NRL team.

Are your an ex coach or an up and coming hotshot?

Moses inclusion such a big boost. Would like to see Matterson swap with Doorey but other than that, can’t argue with JR selections. Respect to him for dropping poor performers, regardless of experience of players. Let’s roll.

We should try Ryley to start as we got womped last week so might as well try something different

Interesting how we see shit differently.
I see our leaders saying they don't want LG in the team as a massive support for their coach. They know the disruption to team harmony this petulant bloke can cause. And further, no matter who we're playing this weekend ( but probs moreso coz you blokes are one of the probable destinations), I see our boys firing up big time to give a huge FU to LG, his manager, etc.
Of course, you blokes see it that we're a rabble. Tell Mitchy to keep out of May and Hunt's way.
Hope it's a good game . . . Let's talk on Tuesday ?

I like taking the piss out of the Tigers as much as the next bloke but I do agree, I think your club has handled it extremely well in the circumstances.

The players making the call to Benji to drop him shows they are putting the long term goals of the club first. Strong leadership, great signs, I would be very content with the result if I was a Tigers fan.

I do think however though that they have made this call the need to follow through and commit to it. Bringing him back into first grade in 2-3 weeks time will be a backwards step. Either cut him loose now or let him play out the year in Reggies.

I also think you will give it to us on Monday unfortunately.

If Galvin is only on $250-300K at the Tigers, they can easily play him in Cup right up until he goes elsewhere for 2027.

We're playing more highly paid plodders to run around in Cup this week!

And their spine of Bula, Luai, Doueihi and Api is still above average without Galvin.

Though I do think there's a bit of self-interest at play with the leadership group's move, and the sense that as always (including back in Benji's playing days) the Tigers players are trying to rule the roost instead of the coach.

I think the last 24 hours show the lunatics are running the asylum down at concord. Giving Jarome Luai all the power in the club can go either way.

If they lose to our rabble on Monday imagine the fallout.

Benji's going to look like a goose. He can't go back to Galvin now after this.

Its not like Galvin's effort has been piss poor where he hasnt been having a dig.

He is showing more effort then the bloke wearing the 6 for us atm.

To me, Tigers look like the Warriors atm. All running on passion with their culturally connected spine. We probably won't do it but more sane teams will put a sword through them.
