Well let's be honest, even in it's hay-day TNA didn't showcase the 'indy' talents as well as they could have and they often built their world heavyweight scene around Jeff Jarrett and ex main stream guys like Jeff Hardy, Kevin Nash, Raven, Rhino, Diamond Dallas Page, Sean Waltman, Sting, Christian Cage etc. and basically used the likes of AJ, Monty and Abyss as filler guys. To their credit, D'Amore and the team knew who the real stars were and that in order to compete with the WWE that they needed to find their own edge so more often than not the X-Division would main event despite not being for the World Championship.

Personally after Bound For Glory, I'd just like to see the likes of Hogan, Flair, Sting, Bischoff, Van Dam, Jarrett etc. disappear and start making way for guys who still have more to offer in the ring (although that is kind of harsh on Jeff who's IMO been one of the top 5 entertaining TNA guys this year). There isn't any need to make any song or dance about it, just focus more on the likes of Roode, Storm, Shelley, Styles etc. build the shows around them and give the fans some interesting angles they can bite into.

And y'know on top of getting rid of those old guys I'd also consider moving the likes of Morgan, Joe and Abyss on. No hard feelings towards any of them but I just don't think they have anything left to offer TNA and it'd be best for them and the company if they parted ways.

Probably the thing that shits me the most at the moment is that the first 20 minutes of the show is dedicated to the same old tired promo. Get people to watch wrestling in the first 5 minutes would be a good start to improving the show.

3 matches (Tag Titles, Women's Title, Heavyweight Title) all had the same ending; opponent blinded and a finisher/roll up for the win. Add in Austin Aries cheating to win + James Storm losing by DQ and there was not many clean finishes for a PPV. The results worked well, the finishes left A LOT to be desired.

I watched some of this PPV as I haven't seem much of TNA before, it seemed slow and predictable. maybe I watched the bad part of the show.

So the big question is, does Bobby Roode go over Kurt Angle?

I say yes, because TNA needs to get their home grown talent to the top of the pyramid and not just former WCW + WWE wrestlers.

I saw the Sting v Flair 20-30 years ago in the 80-90's
I saw Sting v Flair 10 years ago in 2001

Why in the blue hell am I seeing this match as ME in 2011?

It's a f**king abortion (but so is the WWE).

Keep Hogan and Bischoff off the TV.

Push the X division.

Sack the roid apes and brawlers.

Resurrect Samoa Joe's career.

This step in the right direction though them giving him a submission victory over Morgan though.

Hopefully a big push for them both.

The problem I see for Samoa Joe is that he has been a "tweener" for so long that the audience no longer knows how to get behind him. They also seem to be using him to get over people who are in the future plans of TNA, such as Crimson and Matt Morgan.

I think he either needs to be a fully fledged heel (one of a few not aligned to Immortal) or face (we could even see the Samoa Joe dancers again ;-)). The crowd will get behind him either way since he is one of "their guys", but at the moment the Impact Zone just doesn't seem to know how to support him.

Caught last week's ep.

Nothing says 'Impact Wrestling' like a Hogan/Sting promo. What was really gained here? Or was it just an excuse to get these guys on the show?

Remember when the Knockout division used to make fun of the WWE's Diva's division? While Tessmacher is one of the better looking Knockouts, she doesn't belong in a wrestling ring and I couldn't have thought of a worse way to start the wrestling.

Jeff Hardy's apology tour is in full swing! This really isn't necessary, maybe if Jeff was making his big tag team return then it would be but dragging it out like they have does nothing for TNA.

Mexican America skit was so pro wrestling. So cheesy but I got a laugh out of it and as a mid-card feud it's all fine in my book.

You know you're doing a championship match wrong when you give one of the superstars a jobber entrance. Considering Sorensen had a PPV match to qualify for the belt, the least they could have done was give him a proper introduction, even though, yes, he is generic. Match was nothing special, Aries has got better things to do and having Kash interfere was unnecessary.

Anderson vs. Lynn and Bully Ray served it's purpose. Wasn't much of a match, but gave the heels a victory without making the face look weak. Was fine with all of this.

Daniels and Styles was very mid-card. When Styles was doing his post beat-down promo I couldn't help but think of Beyond the Mat with Vince McMahon.

Main event was your typical Angle match. False finishes, ref bumps, non-tense Angle lock spot etc that did nothing for anybody.

Overall: This was actually a solid ep but they let themselves down with the execution of a lot of segments because of the usual problems.

None, just one of the better heels in the company who can work a mic. (as well as he can work a d**k, apparently) better than most in the company.

Bubba isn't and shouldn't be anywhere near a belt, but as a temporary gatekeeper he's fine. He at least knows what's required as a heel.

Henry is playing the monster role like a pro and I don't care what anybody says.

Bubba Ray cuts a mean promo. Unfortunately he is doing the same in-ring moves since ECW so he looks tired. Personally I think he is under-rated, but that's just me.

Agree with pete. Bubba's been killing it on the mic and is a good midcard worker. The problem comes with the booking. Always has and always will till this piece of shit finally disappears.
