Either way I'd be happy to see either.

Can't comment on Ryan as much as I've seen very little of his work.

Wonder if Lyn has just signed up for that PPV? Would seem they are really pushing the X-Division at the moment so hopefully he'll hang around for a bit.

I think it was a one-time gig, but I agree a veteran like Lynn would be a positive addition to the X-Division.

Also a possible heel turn for Christopher Daniels

How was the show SGL?

Only read the spoilers, but here was how the report went:

Kazarian vs. Samoa Joe - A bit "meh", Joe is playing a frustrated wrestler since he can't pick up a win in this BFG Series

Doug Williams vs. Mark Haskins - Probably the dud of the night. Haskins was very nervous and botched a few top rope moves, with Williams doing his best to save it. A lot of Europeam style mat wrestling which didn't go over too well in the US.

Eric Young + Shark Boy def. Generation Me - Pure comedy, nothing more

Ultimate X for No. 1 contender to the X-Division Title: Alex Shelley def. Amazing Red, Robbie E, and Shannon Moore - 2nd best of the night. Heaps of spots, with Shelley and Red doing the best bumps.

Rob Van Dam def. Jerry Lynn - Nowhere near their ECW matches, but still a good match. RVD was half a step off a few times.

Fatal 4 Way for a TNA Contract: Austin Aires def. Low Ki, Jack Evans, and Zima Ion - Match of the night. Aires was the big stand out, particularly since he was the one going over. But none of the other wrestlers gave that impression, particualrly with Low Ki working his old fashioned stiff style.

Brian Kendrick def Abyss (C) to become the new X-Division Champion - Typical big vs small match, though Kendrick did well making Abyss look strong. The finish was a bit stupid with Eric Bischoff and Immortal brawling with the entire X-Division

AJ Styles def. Christopher Daniels - Good solid match between the two, with a heel turn by Daniels hinted when he initially wouldn't shake Styles' hand at the end.

Cheers SGL.

I caught three of the matches in between posts and it wasn't too bad

RVD/Lynn was summed up by your description.

Ki/Aries/Evans/Ion was just the epitome of Total Non-Stop action. I thought Ki/Evans were the stand outs but Aries played the heel role nicely and showed the most personality. Ion wasn't bad but didn't get too much of an opportunity to showcase anything and I didn't think he brought anything to the match.

Kendrick/Abyss again well summed up by your description. I didn't mind the finish as it was appropriate for the build up and gave the X-Division a nice celebration. I don't rate Kendrick as a champion, I would have preferred to have seen another wrestler win it but between him and Abyss the right man went over.

Then I caught the preview for Daniels/Styles, I prefer Daniels as a heel and if they can continue this feud where Daniels is desperate for a win, I'd be real happy.

Not enough to justify me watching it, but that fatal fourway was pretty good - because they had the right sort of guys in it, as has been said previously.

Dixie Carter is a f**king moron.

Should have let Paul Heyman have free reign and the company would be blowing up.

Paul Heyman wanted to buy into TNA as a condition of his employment, and that was never going to happen. Neither Dixie Carter or Jeff Jarrett would sell to him. Also, Vince Russo is a BFF of Jarrett and Carter, so he wasn't going to get the chop unless he jumped, and he and Heyman wouldn't be able to work together.

That probably could have been settled with an incentive based bonus.

Heyman wanted to give a lot of people the chop. Including all the has-beens on the roster.
