Probably because they know he wont go elsewhere and with the salary cap dispensation for 10 year players, they can afford to spend the cap elsewhere and leave a bit under it to retain Peach later

It's been well documented on here lately that Peach has changed his style of play over the past year or two but in my opinion is no less effective than he used to be

FTR I do rate Simmons. He's just a couple of years away from being a GF winning fullback.

Reick is just clumsy. I hope he improves & doesn't end up just another speedster who does nothing. Like most speedsters.

Merrit, on his current atitude & effort, I hope he just goes away.

Saleh was fantastic!
Of all players at Shark park tonight, there was 1 game breaker.
& It was Saleh through his unbeleivable reading of the game.
There was 6 of us there.

He stopped 5 tries alone through reading the play precisely.

Basically he is saying Saleh should of been in first grade all this time and valuable experience and development time this year for Simmons would not of occurred.

If Back Flip had his way we wouldn't of seen Simmons leave Hodges for dust or seen that classic from Simmons against the Broncos this year. Back Flip would,ve holted Simmons progress by at least a year.

And by the way Millers I hardly ever see you leap to many other people's defence but you always seem to have an excuse for Back Flip.

Let him fight his own arguments he's a big boy, if he dishes it out he has to cop it as well.

From what I have seen of Saleh, he is the best defensive winger in the club.
& he's not that much older than simmons or Merrit or Reick.
I thought the idea was to win football games? What goes on in your weird world?
I don't care who the winger is as long as they do their job.
I have no bias against speed, injuries, race, religion or age.
The time to win games is now, not next year.
If you follow that mindset, you will always be waiting for next year.
