Anyone who tries telling me that either Paul Whatuira or Dene Halatau are up to first grade NRL standard shouldn`t even be allowed in any ground to support anyone.
It`s an absolute disgrace if you want to bag local juniors, yet defend these money hungry mong inbreds from overseas !!!

So Phats and Dene Halatau (both internationals) are more deserving of flak than Junior Burger. Viscious ... please

Be fair dinkum, Nick Bradley-Qualilawa wouldn`t be far off making this Kiwi side, would have to be the worst Kiwi side i can ever recall, just lucky for them that it`s also one of the weakest Aussie sides in recent memory as well. Still the Aussies will absolutely flog them.

You still don`t understand, Phats is a blow in who was a passenger in a GF winning side, not wanted by any other NRL side, yet he had the hide to demand a pay rise from us, PLEASE !!!
Halatau isn`t quite that bad, but is quite simply the most one dimensional, over rated international footballer in quite a long while. I know for a fact that he`s on over $150,000 per season and i also know that he shouldn`t even be earning $100,000 per season. He`s robbing us blind and then you start wondering where our cap money is going ??? Granted he`s not the only one, but he`s certainly earning double than what Shannon McDonnell is, so get your priorities right when determining on exactly which players are wasting space in our salary cap. Not just directly pointed at themanonthehill, quite a few others have chosen to forget exactly who is wasting the majority of our cap money as well !!!

Fats is a 2 time premiership winner who has bagged a try every 2 games in the NRL. He has won comps with sides that weren't fancied at all and was a very very solid defender (save for a few games this year).

Dene Halatau is not and never will be a hooker. Good out of dummy half on occasions, but then so is Steve Matai - yet you don't see Hasler playing him at hooker like the self anointed super coach that is shines. Dene is a very effective backrower who has good utility value

Shannon is a lightweight tard who can't tackle, catch or hold a ball, who has been resigned for 3 years based on the fact his equally pathetic father (who has delivered us the likes of Peter Lewis, his own son and the likes of O'Hara and Morris)

Fats never has and never will be a good defender, hence the reason no NRL club was willing to pay anywhere near the money he was wanting, hence the reason he was offloaded by the Warriors, the Storm and the Panthers before we signed him in desperation, as anything was an improvement on the likes of those Balmain products in O`Halloran and Bradley-Qualilawa.
. You`ll see how good a defender he is once again when he gets carved up this weekend and like good `ole Mark O`Neill, he`ll even prove to be a flop in the Super League.
Halatau quite simply hasn`t had a go since `2005 yet commands over $150,000 of our salary cap, you tell me what he should be worth ???
And as for Warren McDonnell, it`s very debateable as to whether he was responsible for signing Peter Lewis, i`m more inclined to believe this was a Tim Sheens brainstorm, but when bagging Warren McDonnell, don`t forget about the 4 Junior Kangaroos he recruited, can`t be doing too bad a job ??? Since McDonnell starting as our recruitment officer, every promising junior that we`ve wanted to keep has been retained, would you rather go back 5 or so years and see all our best local talent snapped up by rival NRL clubs, yet superstars such as O`Halloran and Bradley-Qualilawa be given the saloon passage into first grade ???

May I ask how you know.

You can ask, but it`s a bit like giving up your accomplice if you get caught robbing a bank, you don`t tell !!!
I haven`t got a link for ya or anything like that Ink, but just believe someone for once in your life and take it from me that he`s on over $150,000 per season.

How much over?

I don`t know how much over, but my info is from someone close enough to the club to know exactly what`s going on, yet far enough away to not be real impressed with how the club has progressed since `2005. The man in question has quite a close connection with quite a few other NRL clubs as well and openly states what a laughing stock the size and aggression shown from our forwards is !!!
When talking about our lack of size and my disappointment in how players such as Halatau have progressed since `2005, he stated that he knows for a fact that he`s on over $150,000 per season and he knows for a fact that no other NRL club would pay him within $50,000 per season of what we`re paying him.
And for the record, this man lays a lot of the blame on Noyce, says that he incompetent, spends the money in wrong areas and is the main reason a lot of proposals are blocked and the main reason we have gone so far backwards since `2005.
To be honest i wasn`t real sure what to take of that comment, but this person would know far more than me !!!

Noyce's problem is he seems to nice. I don't see a ruthless streak in him and cunning players and player managers would probably find him a soft target.

And vish, as for the Junior Kangaroos, how many actually go on to have decent first grade careers. A heap of today's elite never played junior kangaroos and it doesn't seem to have hampered them at a first grade level.

My no 1 bugbear is I asked ronald at the AGM `what is plan B if god forbid Marshall's shoulder goes again'. His response was `the club had outlayed a stack of money on promising halves in the PL side and that they would get a run'. What happened when Benji went ? We saw Farah moved to compensate the spastic that is Morris, Lawrence, Fulton all play 5/8. Now this has 2 possible reasons:
1. The PL blokes we had aren't up to it (which given what many have seen in Lazarus and Dunley is garbage)
2. The supercoach everyone has been jerking off over for 2 yrs despite him missing the 8 2 years running won't pick players that show up what dud signings he has made in the likes of Morris
