As the proud owner of the 6 Living in the 70's CD's and three Living in the 80's CD's, I understand the excitement.

I purchased my first 70's compilation CD due to it having Lyndsey De Paul's Sugar Me on the CD. An emotional rollercoaster of a song, the first 45 ever purchased for me by a girl when I was 12.

I may have to kill myself now.

i did get a shock when she asked me upstairs, and to think she had the cheek to ask for money,i told her thats not how things are done in qld,so two big burlyguys escorted me back downstairs to the sticky seats.

Lord William Joel needs no introduction, but I thank you for refreshing my fragile memory on the 'Crash Test Dummies' offering. A truly fab little gem that one and I may well be so inclined as to pay a visit to the local Sanity store in the very near future. I reckon you may be lucky enough to pick it up in 'the right price' bin these days.

*Left blank on account of to hard to choose.

While everyone bags out Genesis, up until Peter Gabriel left they were a very good prog-rock band. After that they kinda died a slow & painful death but still, credit where credits due.

Someone mentioned earlier that they were almost named Stevie after Ms Nicks, can I just say thank you for sharing that. For 25 years I've thought my Aunt somewhat kooky for naming my cousin Rhiannon after said Fleetwood song, now I can take comfort in the fact that it may have just been the times. :D

Im in the mood for more bagging, and i know a lot bag them, but seeing that a few have come out in support of them, ill say that i enjoy some of what Everclear has put out. Yeh, maybe not all of it, but they have a few good songs.

Rggggggg, yeh, i have, its on my mp3 list and its awesome! The whole I am Sam soundtrack is good come to think of it. I remember a lot of good bands/singers on the playlist. I be hoping for it this Christmas :)

Cheers,

I'm with CyberKev and Pepe. Most of the rest of the stuff listed here is noise, not music.

Elton John - all albums up to Goodbye yellow brick Road
Stevie Wonder - several
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Neil Young - Harvest, Everybody Knows this is Nowhere
Chuck Mangione- Land of Make Believe, Chase the Clouds Away
The Who - Who's Next

hmmm - I guess I'm stuck in the 70's. The only new album I like is one my daughter introduced me to, Sarah Harmer - You Were Here. Sarah's a Canadian, not sure if her album has travelled down under.
