Well Dier looks to be the buy of the transfer widow at 3.9 mill, amazing debut for a 20 year old although our midfield was disappointing, I know its only one game but geez he looked good

Selections a bit confusing with Verts, Dembele, Chadli, Paulinho, Walker and Chiriches all omitted although Sandro is not yet fit.

Still a bit thin in the middle tbh, Kaboul isn't the answer sadly. Many of those players were rested tbh Twiz cause of WC involvement and weren't even at the ground

Yeh I figured that, some of them WC players have only been back 2 weeks and just started training but that 11 we fielded was a long way from a full strength team.

We were pretty rusty but I guess we should expect that in round 1

Only if he can play on the left as Lamela has a mortgage on the right hand forward spot. His form over the last month has been amazing.

When you see things like Tottenham and Arsenal in a battle to sign some one blah blah, its generally just paper talk as no one from Spurs has mentioned him.

Lamela, Chadli and Capou were pretty good, scoreline was very unSpurslike but jeez QPR were pretty average.

Going to be a busy week for us transfer wise with about 4 going out including Sandro.

It appears we have met Fazio's buy out clause by forking out the €10 mill and should be at WHL in time for the Europa game on Friday, Daws off to Hull. We gave up on MM and got this 6'5" beast instead.

The MS deal looks to be very possible now as things changed over the weekend. Sandro going to Napoli apparently.

I dont think we will do much else unless its a last minute Levy bargain. With Fazio and Dier added to our defence we certainly have some big fast ball playing backs which is apparently Poch's formula.
