An experienced head in midfield or someone to either support or provide a plan B to Kane and you've got yourself a very good team. The first half until the goal you strolled past some quality players in our midfield and a bounce here or there could have seen you take the lead.

I admire the way Poch is doing his own thing and I fully expect you to be a Top 3 candidate in the next few years under him.

probably be a few years away, we're told to be patient

our recruiting will be youth 18-20 year olds and develop them ourselves, or at least thats the plan over the next 3/4 years or so till our new stadium is up and running. We do have some class in our academy similar to Mason and Beltelab and we may see some of them play before the year is out, Onomah being the main man.

Levy aint keen to fork over big money anymore as with Soldado and Lamela, it doesn't guarantee you get your moneys worth, plus we are never really big spenders because we need to sell before we spend.

We do have a lot that we want to sell though

Another 2 from the Hurricane overnite, up to 26 goals so far, not bad considering he wasn't in the starting line till November.

Are there any confirmed designs yet? I think I read once they were going to use the same people that did arsenal's stadium. I really hope that's not the case, the emirates is way too vast for what it is, need to pack the seats in way closer.

If they are looking for ideas for a 50,000-60,0000 stadium, they really should look no further than Suncorp stadium. Take that design, fill in the top corners and it would be perfect

I dont think its the mob who did the Goonery.

There are a couple of different proposals, the one they want to use is the latest and it will house 60,000 as one of the potential sponsors (I think its Under Armour) want to play a couple of NFL games per year, so nothing less than 60,000 was the minimum set in order to have these guys onboard.

As you probabaly know its a precinct, not just a stadium. There is 2 towers, shopping centres and high density low cost housing which is why Harringly council supported it for the area.

Its going to be a huge money earner.

That sounds good, NFL fields are smaller than football so hopefully will ensure stands are packed in.

I need to get over to the current Lane before it gets demolished for sure.

Would love to do an away trip too, our away fans are the best. You been Twiz?

No, hopefully next year as it will be our last year. When I go it will coincide with the Ashes.

The following year we will have a temporary home for a season when they demolish WHL.

I've checked it out on Google earth and it looks like a dump. Be good to visit the new one when its done as they will have packaged deals for game day accommodation in the new development.

Was lucky enough to catch a few games during the 2009/10 season during our Arry reign/champions league season. The ground itself is very unique and unlike any stadium in Australia. The entry points are very small(turnstiles). And then once past them it's dark with stairs all over the place. The seating itself is quite small/tight. The only comparsion I can think of is the old olympic stand at the MCG where the average size of a person must of been 5ft when they built the seating set up. Other then that the ground has a really good sound to it. Something a lot of these newer stadiums doesn't seem to have

The area around the lane is a shit hole. But the ground itself is certainly unique. The away end is similar to what Highbury used to be like. It's one of the best away grounds I've been to for sound and atmosphere. But the facilities were pretty bad.

Selhurst park is much the same when it comes to seating space and atmosphere.

Your new ground looks the goods though, I'll have to get over there and check it out at some point.
