Don't think that second goal of Kane's will stand.

I think we'd be in the relegation battle without Kane this year...

no, younger inexperienced guys are much cheaper

this is Paul Mitchell's work so this will give us an idea of his ability as a scout

very true, just heard from someone that this guy is not ready for PL yet, he will need 6 months to work his way into the team, he was bought for potential but is expected to be a classy CB, so yeah, like I said this will show us what Pitchell is capable of

yeah, I mentioned him in #2381

although he is a 22 year old he wont feature in any PL games for a few months into next season as he is considered one for the future in the same mould as Dier and he can play left or right CB

lol,

I think we are really feeling the effects of having such a young team, far too many 18-21 year olds and just not enough consistency and each game is becoming a learning curve for this bunch of kids

we need a bit more maturity and/or leadership atm,

gee Deli Ali has been knocking them in for fun for MK Dons. 15 goals now from an 18 year old midfielder is a pretty good effort.

Am I the only hoping we finish 7th, wouldnt mind a season without the Europa League tbh. Focus on the domestic cups

A lot of fans are saying the same thing, some of these Europa games you need a plane flight, 12 hours on a bus and 3 days on a camel train to get to the games, then back home in time for a Sunday arvo game to play a team that is pretty fresh.

A lot of UCL games are just a 2 or 3 hour plane flight and we seem to handle UCL better then we handle Europa.

Our record on EPL games straight after some of these games speaks for itself and its been ages since we didn't qualify for Europa.

I think we need to be there and we will. Our transfer window this summer will see another clean out and influx of youngsters who will probabaly all be works in progress so they need the cup games to develop.

I really hope we dont just recruit a heap of 18-20 year olds as we already got heaps, we need some maturity and leadership in the midfield but generally those guys dont come cheap.

I dont see any point in being the youngest team in the EPL if you are perennial Europa qualifiers, at some stage we need to start challenging the top teams and atm we are not consistent enough because we are a team of kids.
