I streamed the Liverpool game but was watching updates of your game.

You get those games every now and then. It sounded like you should have won, something about an onside adebayor goal getting called offside (again).

According to a couple of Wolves forums Frimpong had a good game while he was on so happy about that.

They didn't deserve the win. Modric was always sniffing out around the box, but Wolves didn't let them get close enough.

Loved the form from Spurs (Adebayor in particular) on the drop ball in front of Wolves goal too.

Frimpong did have a good game, was close to getting a second card though, so had to come off.

Minor set-back for Spurs IMO, they're much better than that any other day of the week.

interesting movements in Skybet this morning

Samba to Spurs was @ 5/1 on Monday, now 6/5

Hoilett to Spurs, all betting has been suspended after some very large plunges

Means f**k all mate.

Skybet suspended betting on Bent joining Pool.

Hoiletts manager and Blackburn confirmed no bids have been made/received yet.

Why?!?!?

Anyways, the fall out from the Wolves game is stupid. Its a draw against an organised team playing out of there skin.

It happens to all teams, hell United got beat by Blackburn last week.
I still think you will finish third this year (which is in no way a bad thing), but you were in the title race on Saturday morning, and your still in it now.

For Twizzel and his SkyBet odds, Jermaine Defoe is 6/4 to leave Tottenham this transfer window, market is tipped to be suspended by Friday

I just assumed any of the other big teams worth watching would just walk past who they were playing. I like watching Liverpool suffer too. Takes my mind off how poor Arsenal are atm.

Nah i bolded the bit about watching a stream of the Liverpool match.

Just wondering why, when you have a choice of doing anything else you would watch a liverpool game!!

Where is Defoe supposed to be going? not heard much about it.

I would not get rid of him, unless he is replaced. Not sure who you would replace him with though. Not a lot of talent moving around this Jan.

Also do you think strikers who look good elsewhere struggle at Spurs? Unrealistic expectations? The system used? Something happens there. You had Bent who scores for fun everywhere, now Defoe.

It may be worth you getting Carroll. Instead of buying a goalscorer and watching him not do well. Buy a forward who can't score and he may start scoring then, especially on the end of Bale crosses. ;-)

I dont think we have bought well as far a strikers go.

We got Pav because he was cheap, never rated Crouch, one trick pony. Ade is OK but past his prime. Berbatov went well but we were too far down the ladder to keep him.

Defoe isn't going anywhere. Now were are in the top 4 there is no chance of us selling a player like Defoe.

England rushing to beat Scots to Caulker

Published 22:30 18/01/12 By Alan Nixon

Fabio Capello is ready to pick Steven Caulker in his full England squad – to keep him out of Scotland’s clutches.

The England boss is a big fan of the Swansea defender, who is on loan from Tottenham, and watched him against Arsenal at the weekend ahead of a call-up to face Holland next month.

Caulker, 20, has played for England at Youth and Under-21 level, but because he has a Scottish grandmother is also eligible for Craig Levein’s Tartan Army.

England are keen to promote Caulker, who is seen as a future Spurs star, to the senior squad as soon as possible.

Caulker does not have to choose between the two nations until he is 21 and even playing in a friendly will not change this.

But if England can get him involved at the top level it will be a major step in winning the battle for his allegiance.
