Thank goodness! I was looking at the forum in the early hours of this morning (1-2am) and didn't see anything of note.
Hopefully if Gio and Pav leave, we bring in Hoilett and a decent striker.

H has nothing to do with transfer deals, Dan Levy is the man, they no doubt identify targets together but that would have been happening over the last 6 months or so. His court case doesn't affect transfers in any way.

No idea at this stage who we are talking to, all very hush hush and I wouldn't expect anything to be done till the last minute.

Funnily enough, we just happen to be playing Wigan (today) as well.
From what I saw earlier it looks like GDS and Pavlyuchenko are gone, with Adebayor to be made a permanent transfer (in the summer) and another striker to be brought in.
I also saw Remy is looking likely for the summer.

Apparently Samba has declared he wants to leave Blackburn, I wouldn't be unhappy if we attempted to sign him. Rodallega is another mentioned player; he'd be an improvement over Pavlyuchenko at the very least.

We've signed Louis Saha.
I'm guessing that means Pavlyuchenko is gone.

Frankly I don't mind this signing, he's better than Pavlyuchenko and when fit and firing can be very good. We probably got him on a free/small transfer too.
Some might criticize this signing but I see him as the short-term replacement for Pavlyuchenko whilst we look to the summer for big-name additions.

Looks like a few more could still be on the way.

That article doesn't say whether it is a loan or not. @Habit, he's there so we don't have a useless third striker (Pavlyuchenko) wasting everyone's time on the field.

The crap regarding Jermain Defoe is just that apparently.
However, if Liverpool do want him and want to pay top dollar, I'd assume if Levy said yes someone would be on the phone to Brazil in a heartbeat......

Also a bit confused about sending both Adam Smith and Vedran Corluka out on loan. I know Kaboul can cover for Walker, but why should we be in that situation where currently our best centre-back would play right-back if Walker got injured? Only thing I can think of is that we have more players coming in than Saha.

sold Pav for 9 mill, f**k knows how we got that much, Saha is a loan replacement, we just need a 4th striker who is content to sit on the bench and only play now and then

Charlie gone to Bundesliga and his replacement is Nelson, Blackburn CB on loan, another stop gap
