He was the best & most consistent. Everyone else from 1-7 either didn't get enough opportunities, had long periods of bad form, were out of position or injured.

Beau maintained good form despite all this. I'd have him over Tuqiri any day of the week. At least he's reliable, unlike mop hands tuqiri

No one is talking about having him back Jim, just saying he has been our best back in 2011 and 2012.

Just to hijack this thread for a moment I thought some of you might be interested in this. The Tigers and a few other teams are chasing this kid. I know running fast isn't everything but he plays league as well. His name is James Gallaugher, there are a few other youtube clips of him.

Maybe nothing comes of him but still good to watch the below link.

How would you like to be the the kid in white....

Utai no.2
Kirotebete no. 5

Utai has plenty of experience and this year he actually played really well. I think Utai definitely has at least another year left in him.

Tiquiri is just too much of a liability that we cannot afford

I think utai's height was exposed too often this year. He is often out of position and/or out jumped under the high ball.

Would b a handy bench utility though as his hard running would be damaging at the back end of each half

NRL Summertime 'Wests Tigers' on fox 7pm Thursday 3rd if anyone's interested.

The eels episode last week looked mainly at training and preparation.

Awesome man thanks.

Watched the one on Canberra a few weeks ago and found it very interesting so it should be even better watching the Tigers one..

I watched it last night, I believe it will be repeated before next thursday.

Main points:
*Simona, Miller, Ayshford and Lawrence have been training the house down.
*Anasta has been putting on the kegs and is keen to play in the back row, is excited about the prospect of running off Farah and Marshall.
*Potter has been focussing very heavily on teaching the boys they need to earn their field position in the oppositions half.
*They've been training harder than before, and all are rising to the challenge.
*Robbie is hungry to push himself further if need be to make the team improve.
*Potter expects the team to be in the top 8, he wants to win more games than he loses and have a positive points differential (basic stuff)
*Hayden Knowles, the performance coach, is very impressed with the power and strength of Aaron Woods.
*Potter has said players are fighting for positions which is improving their focus and training immesnely.

Was it just me or did Farah seem happier then he has for the last few years?

I think a guy as competetive as he is would relish what Potter has bought with him

.

I thought he was talking about BMM.

Great to see Potter making them focus on competitiveness. He pretty much might as wel have come out and said the team was soft and hes not putting up with that shit.

The whole team looks more relaxed and comitted from what I saw. Obviously still competitive in the sense they're battling for their spots, but they certainly looked sharp.

Change of coach was a gods gift by the looks of it.

Better attitude.

this all sounds great and I really hope the teams attitude does improve but we have read this a lot since 05.

I suspect "his" happy because the Tigers are on the way up and he no longer has to contemplate the awful prospect of playing for that scum club.
