Mata is not for sale AK

And unlike the Yids, we mean it
Mata could be a deal for Utd... Some sort of deal with Rooney and Mata swapping.

Plugs 2 holes for each club...

But I get the feeling Utd not selling to Chelsea is more on principle than for the money...

Jose's ego says otherwise...

He made Rooney his number 1 priority... If theres the opportunity to make that happen... his ego will get it done...

Needs are secondary to the 'The Special One'.

They hardly needed Willian either... But Jose's ego wanted to get one over AVB and Spurs.

Maybe he's given up on Rooney and is just mind-f*cking Moyes now?

Mind-f**king??

More like he's starting to backtrack now that he realises his ass can't cash in the cheques his mouth wrote at the start of the transfer period when he started trying to get Wayne Rooney.

Don't get me wrong... I actually really like Jose... But his biggest signing over this transfer period made no sense whatsoever...

All he's done is unsettle the OUTSTANDING Juan Mata... And quite frankly ill be surprised to see him still at the bridge by the end of the season.

The Barca rumours are getting louder...

Are you suggesting that United would view all of the uncertainty over Rooney a good thing?

I think Sir Alex did more than enough to cause this issue with Rooney well before Chelsea showed any interest.

And there's never been by uncertainty with Rooney... Man Utd were never going to sell him to Chelsea...

Those tactics may work for Chelsea with a small club... But not when your dealing with the biggest club in the league.

Rooney will continue to play for United... And will play well because that's what's expected of him in a Man Utd shirt...

If he walks out in 2 years on a free that's fine... We will have certainly got our 26M worth out of him over the 11 seasons he would have been with Utd.

And you never know.... He may resign again...

I'm sure we'd like to have him but I don't think Jose is fussed either way. He said he was the target this summer but did end it with "if he stays, he stays".

Moyes is getting a bit of his own from Everton at the moment, although he seems to have a different attitude in this instance "I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players.”

I have no doubt Rooney will continue to do what he does best if he stays with United.

Desperate for what?

They either dont sell and keep their best player to add with the great signings theyve made this window or they sell him at a price everyone in the world knows is ludicrous, except Madrid.

Its a win/in for Spurs.

Desperate for Bale to stay obviously. You might see it as a win if they sell him, but lots of their fans really want him to stay.

Did united actually make a bid? From what I've read the speculation seems to have started because William Hill dropped their odds over the last few days.

they have allegedly offered more cash than RM, plus Hernandez, don't know of its verbal or official offer

once again they got told he is not for sale to an EPL team and Bale doesn't want to go there anyway

he is back from Spain today and will be training with Spurs tomorrow apparently
