Fabregas isn't leaving Barca this season at least. They've put that on public record in just the last couple of days.

In actual news, Luis Suarez is believed to be ready to make a transfer request when he meets with Liverpool in Melbourne. Arsenal are very confident in his desire to join them and will come in with an improved 40 million pound offer.

Cesc isn't silly, he would know that Xavi is on a rather rapid decline (IMO Cesc is already better) and he will be getting a lot more opportunities. Cesc actually had quite a good domestic season last season

Cesc wont leave Barca, if he does its back to Arsenal, he has said so himself.

With that said its, quite clear hes happy to retire at Barca, and the only thing that would stop that would be no game time, but with Xavi's increasing decline and the fact that Alcantara is now out of the picture, he will get his time in the team and is most likely their future Captain.

Napoli have agreed the fee for Higuain, just waiting on his personal approval apparently. Looks like the Goners have missed out again on a target.

Now just wait for us to sell Suarez to Madrid and they'll have no-one left to sign

Difference both those team were built on them having to score, basically the reason why Villa almost went down.

With core group, now playing together for a year, they will only get better and that should benefit Giroud.

 I have a Torres shaped bridge to sell you... Give him a season to settle and he'll get back to his Liverpool best.

Because they didn't have the players that Arsenal do to both create and finish chances. It doesn't matter who you are as a forward if you don't get good service. Mind you, Swansea have some pretty decent creative players, but really, they didn't have Cazorla or the others to work with. As much as Benteke and Michu were the focus of their teams, they still did far better given the circumstances as opposed to both Giroud and Podolski. Hell, bloody Adebayor would score tonnes of goals if he had those midfielders to work with.

Giroud - 11 goals, 34 appearances

Podolski - 11 goals, 33 appearances

Benteke - 19 goals, 34 appearances

Michu - 18 goals, 35 appearances

No matter how much you slice it, the two pin-up strikers for Arsenal were outclassed by relative unknowns from mid or low table clubs. Michu came from a 15th placed Spanish club for about 2 million pounds!

If he doesnt improve then look too move him on. 17 goals and 11 Assists is pretty good for a first season.

Now with the team in sync, he should be able to push to 25 and 12. That would be a good return.

For 9.6Mill, he wasnt that much of a risk, with Joel Campbell coming back we will have more depth st ST, and i hope Madrid gets hannibal, cause i dont want him.

If they do go for a striker then i hope its one of Yilmaz, Bony or blow a truck load on rooney.

Sign Gustavo if hes Available. Plus if they want a CB sign Kurt Zouma.
