perhaps if felix started lukas rather than given him sporadic minutes off the bench he would have had a better season last year.

Roy-Lukas-Toni gives bayern three good strong options up front. we did need to sign another striker after letting Pizzaro go, and I think Toni is an upgrade

toni will be useless if we dont get someone like deco, at the moment our current playmaker for next year is a youth product Tony Kroos, only 17 years old, they've got high praise for him, but we need a play maker other wise signing toni was useless, schweinsteiger can't do everything, and with salihamidzic and hargreaves gone, deisler retired, our right hand side is drained with the probability of jansen on the left and lahm on the right for defence with willy sagnol or andreas görlitz moving further up, jesus we're f**ked at the moment, though they did say we'll sign another 3 or 4 sometine next week or 3 weeks at the latest, with atleast 1 big signing, i'm not too confident

Yeah, Hildebrand is a long-term signing. Canizares has already started to show some signs of decline this season. We've also got young Butelle, who is a good prospect so I wouldn't even say Hildebrand is guaranteed the spot after Canizares bows out.

Now I'm on the topic of Valencia transfer news, there was lots of speculation that we were gonna get Wesley Sneijder, who would have been a great pick-up, just the type of player we're lacking atm. But it looks less likely now, although Sneijder himself seemed to be interested in coming here so we'll wait and see. Also some rumours suggest we're signing Trezeguet, but I don't know if he's the right player for us. Talk about Forlan too; now, he'd be a good buy. People who don't follow la liga generally don't seem to be able to de-attach themselves from the 03/04 version of Forlan who had some teething problems at Man Utd. Well, the modern Forlan is a totally different player; a mighty finisher. Villarreal are pricing him pretty high though.

Finally, we've been linked with every half decent spanish starlet in La Liga, and we'll continue our general policy of building a predominantly spanish side. We've already picked up Alexis, Mata (one of RM's best youth products) and Sunny (a great young prospect from Segunda).

from what i've read, forlan is staying at villareal until his contract runs out, apparently villarreal have slapped a ridiculous transfer price on him that he believes no one will be willing to pay but he also said he doens't mind staying another year with them

but hildebrand is definately a better keeper than he is given credit for, future germany #1 -until oliver kahn retires and michael rensing is a bayern regular- so if i was a valencia fan i'd be happy that for now the goalkeeping issue is sorted, though he is prone to moments of ridiculous madness like chilavert was
