I don't think the transfer ban was ever all that it seemed. They can sign players, but they can't be registered to play until next year. You won't be seeing Turan play for a while.

The problem for Wenger was the bar was raised after his "Invincible" season. Winning the league while drawing 10 games along the way was no longer adequate. He had a side capable of maintaining the level his earlier years achieved (perhaps without the class of viera in midfield), but unable to reach the new heights the PL winners were achieving, hoping United had a bad year was no longer enough to win a league title.

Agree and disagree, His teams haven't reached the heights of those days, but look at the teams that won in that 05-11 era, Chelsea Bought a world class team that dominated, then United had one of the best teams, along with at that time the best player in the world, Now after years of waiting to get money to spend, he is finally getting the players he needs to challenge for the league, We are a Class Finisher and Rotational DM short of being in that Race in the last few weeks of the year.

Lacazette is available as well with Fekir re-signing and Lyon grabbing another striker. Reckon they'll cash in on Lacazette now. Be a fantastic window for united if they can get Lacazette in with a great CB to go with Schweini, Depay and Darmian.

Sterling is off to City for a fee of £49 million apparently. £44 mill plus add ons is the deal being reported. Great business IMO, had to get as much as we could as QPR are owed 20% of the fee. Now that saga is done we can move on.

I've heard Higuians nsme get thrown around but i doubt that is anything but rumors. Other then that i havent heard anything. Maybe LVG trusts wilson and Hernandez as backups with Depay also but i doubt that
