Transfer Rumours

Arsenal goes boom. We just need a big strong midfielder, and maybe a striker. And we go into the season as Chelsea's number 1 challengers.

You guys could sign the entire Barcelona roster and still find a way to f**k it up. 3rd or 4th again this season me thinks.

City and United are making dramatic changes to their squads. Very few foreign players hit the ground running. The players they buy this summer might not be operating well until next year.

Chelsea and Arsenal will just be going through incremental change. Our squads are much more settled.

I'm not biased, happy to admit Chelsea go into the season as the number 1 team, but we deserve to be number 2.

GK is sorted, even though i'm not as high on him as everyone else, Would still love Bender or Another DM, and Alex Laca from Lyon as Striker, and if any coin is left over a young project LB.

Both chelsea and Arsenal won't have major changes, so team rhythm should be fine from the get go, where as Man utd, City and livo are overhauling their squads, it will take time to gel.

Wenger is why I'm not 100% sold on Arsenal as well. Again if I was running Arsenal I would've went after Klopp and offered him whatever he wants to come ASAP.

Still they can't complain signing a GK like Cech, Wenger or no Wenger.

Sorry, you didn't. I was really tired after work yesterday.

But I think he has a valid point based on the fact that unlike City and United, Arsenal aren't going through a transition, yet if they sign a great striker and big strong midfielder, they do have what it takes to be Chelsea's number one challengers.

Don't really buy the 'not with Wenger' bullshit. We've all seen what he can do with a nicely balanced but talented team.

Only Wenger would of got Arsenal through that new Stadium, not even Mourinho.... And please Klopp with some of the best players in the German league was going horrible this year.

Nup, no yets. Since 2006 Wenger has generally had a good squad but not a great squad, whether that's his fault or not...

His best squad was the 2010 one that went into meltdown mode after Birmingham, that side should won the title, but other than that he has always been a few players short of a title challenger... Not everyone can have an open cheque book.

The problem for Wenger was the bar was raised after his "Invincible" season. Winning the league while drawing 10 games along the way was no longer adequate. He had a side capable of maintaining the level his earlier years achieved (perhaps without the class of viera in midfield), but unable to reach the new heights the PL winners were achieving, hoping United had a bad year was no longer enough to win a league title.

Good to see Barcelona's transfer ban has been taken seriously. FIFA ban them for child trafficking UEFA ignore it.

UEFALONA much?!
