Had to giggle at the reports claiming Adebayor will be either shifted out on loan or sold for 10m less than what he was bought for.

It's like Football Manager + Database editor.

Er, Adebayor won't be going anywhere. Nor will Wright-Phillips, Bellamy, or anyone else.
Only the fringes of the squad, and maybe possibly Ireland, will move on.

Confirmed:

Raúl > Schalke
Sol Campbell > Newcastle

Rumour:

Sami Khedira > Real Madrid, said to be a deal in place
Maicon > Real Madrid, Real are supposed to be reaching an agreement
Mesut Özil > Arsenal or Real Madrid
Per Mertesacker > Arsenal
Jo > Blackburn
Anders Lindegaard (The next Peter Schmeichel) > Manure
Insua > Fiorentina may be off, he is asking for too much money

Er, Adebayor won't be going anywhere. Nor will Wright-Phillips, Bellamy, or anyone else.
Only the fringes of the squad, and maybe possibly Ireland, will move on.

Some players will have to with that 25 player squad rule.

9 Pablo Zabaleta
10 Wayne Bridge
11 Micah Richards
12 Nedum Onuoha
X Dedryck Boyata
X Greg Cunningham

Midfielders
13 Yaya Toure
14 Gareth Barry
15 Nigel De Jong
16 Patrick Vieira
17 James Milner/Stephen Ireland
X Abdisalam Ibrahim

Wingers
18 Adam Johnson
19 David Silva
20 Craig Bellamy
21 Robinho
22 Shaun Wright-Phillips
X Vladimir Weiss

Strikers
23 Carlos Tevez
24 Emmanuel Adebayor

MANCHESTER CITY: Emmanuel Adebayor has been told he can leave the club, with Juventus and Milan both ready to pounce. The £130,000-a-week striker is surplus to requirements with Mario Balotelli poised to sign early next week. 20-25 million pounds plus extras for James Milner?

Now THAT's funny.

A pretty expensive benchy when City will (should) have Johnson, Tevez and Silva tucked in behind Balotelli/Dzeko.
