I seen it twice already, must admit it is pretty damn awesome. Potential to be the biggest blockbuster of the year and yes that includes POTC3, SM3, HP5, DH4, Shrek3, Simpsons etc.

The hype this movie has generated in america rivals that of Star Wars TPM from all reports.

Could be up towards the billion mark at the box office by the time it's run is over.

Star Scream as an F-22 Raptor was fargen cool..

The Intro scene had me from the very beginning it was just amazing.. There has never been a movie like this before..

Wouldnt be suprised if it breaks some box office records.

What a movie, as a kid i was obsessed with Transformers (still am really) when Prime was taking on Megatron, I wanted to get up and yell "Kick his ass"!!!!!! Star scream should of been shown a lot more though.

Now I really want a yellow Camaro!!!! And I really want a tranformers sequel to come out, brilliant movie.

Duel, Schindlers List, are my favourite Spielberg films...

Fantastic film. Absolutely awesome.

On topic, what's so "amazing" about this movie anyway?

But why?

So far, people have said it has a simplistic storyline and average acting. How can it be the greatest movie ever?

OMG that was fantastic.

I loved the little touches and Optimus Prime is the greatest action hero ever. Easily the greatest cartoon hero but now everyone gets to see it.

Loved the Starscream being a failure references.

Well considering the basics of the story are giant robots that transform into various cars and aircraft i don't think this movie was ever going to either rely or need strong acting or a brilliant plot.
I'm a big TF fan from way back, had all the toys and watched the cartoon movie about 100 times and I’m certainly not disappointed with the new movie.
Greatest movie ever is over the top though - Shawshank and Godfather will probably never relinquish that title.
Greatest action movie ever though? Certainly up there with Terminator 2 IMO. Hard to explain but it's blown 95% of the people who've seen it away with it's visuals alone....and when we're talking giant robots that can take out the US army then i bet that's what the majority of people are going to see the movie for...not acting or the plot.
I'm a fan of there plot though, introduced a very unrealistic story and characters well, did enough to make this move a hit and set it up nicely for sequels.

And hundreds of goosebump moments - Blackout destroying the US iraq base, Bonecrusher chasing Prime on the highway and then engaging him head on, Barricade and Bumblebee's car chase scene... just leaves you begging for more.

The sound affects and soundtrack are brilliant too IMO.

Its not "the greatest movie ever" - but you will be glued to the screen for the entire time.
Brilliant visual effects
Some genuinely funny moments
Edge of your seat action
Mikeala is hot
The cars are cool
and
They turn into transformers!!!

Just saw it and must say i was impressed with the graphics, pretty jaw dropping. As for the storyline, well it felt more like an introduction than a full story, left me wanting ALOT more. Lets hope the sequals get into greater depth of the battle between the decepticons and autobots. Good movie though, didnt think they could pull it off. Some funny moments and the fight scenes were awesome. Starscream is the sh*t
