Any doubts about Nicho as a 7 are well and truly goneski's. He is just everywhere the ball is.

I thought the 17 was great as well. Looks young but is a big body and looked well up to it.

Finucane was fantastic. He and Nicho linked very well and it was the speed of it all that caused the most problems.

Ramien defended very well but never looked like passing to Katoa in attack.

BHU was great also, especially linking up with DF.

All The forwards, really laid a good platform tonight.

Berrell, meh. Threw some shit passes and looks like one of the feral mums at my kids school.

Lol'd at the feral mum comparison. Don't mind when he runs but his passing game is f**king clunky. Needs some time in the Jets to get that right. f**k we have some depth this year.

I cant see Graham playing round 1, moon boot and all, we dont want to risk players early on, and we have enough depth to cover him

Yeah suprised by Colquhoun (I'm never going to get his name right) size, looked pretty big when compared to our NRL forwards.

The rest meh, but no one was bad, the replacement hooker was probably the worst for us, but new to firsts, will cut some slack.

Will say that Berrell has disappointed me in what I’ve seen in the trials, poor option choices and worse execution.

Graham unlucky and not ideal to lose him for Canberra as there is history there but next man up get it done.

Fitz has absolutely sorted out the roles for each man I can easily see how he has told the forwards to just do their job.

How good was Ronny in the centres.

All of a sudden our team seems to have proper standards and smart footy players. You can just see it with Finucane and Hynes in particular.

Good trial. On and off the field for the players and K. The lack of warm up game messed with my vibe. Knocked over 4 beers and it was half time in the main. f**k - hadn’t eaten so got some hot dog. Few more beers and sadly no bourbons besides suthos but they put cash into us so had to do them. stumble back to elouera took 15-20.

Players wise they dug in. I’ll have to dig in more at the gym tomorrow to prove to the wife I’m not hungover. Moylan was like a second coach in the warm up while the other non players didn’t bother come over.

Ronnie looked good in the centres too and also played a big part in a couple of tries (one was Nikora). Wrapping around from his wing to the open side of the field as if he was playing fullback, with Will K floating along outside him. It created two extra threats out the back and Nicho just hit Nikora easily off his hip for a try.
It's a numbers game and the defence shit the bed with the extra runners out the back.
It worked a couple of times.

The kicking game was good both long and short, not sure if its just the summer and lack of football but it seemed Hynes/Trindall had a lot more height on there kicks then Chad, it allowed the kick chase team to get there and trap the Dogs

Just watched the replay. Nikora get rid of him haha, best edge player on the park by a long way., Tracey will be at 3, Ramien at 4 for now. Ivakalu might have to wait a bit longer, will pair off with Mullas at some stage I ereckon. Metcalf looks like he's put on 10 kegs, centre 2nd row for mine.

Good signs for us but the Bulldogs look like us 2014 after the shit hit the fan. Imagine relying on players like TPJ to win you a GF haha.
