Moses Leota not named. No mention of extent of the shoulder injury picked up in the trial so I assume it’s minor.

Good to see Cleary has judged him on skill rather than reputation. Hopefully means he has gotten through to him better thank Hook did about controlled aggression.
He's a trial behind most teammates so is probably getting bigger minutes for both fitness and a fair chance to prove himself.

Or maybe Ivan is hoping he kills some Eels players and makes Round 1 a bit easier.

Why either side would bother giving anything away in this trial is anyone's guess given we meet in Round 1.

This is how I would do it (simplified):

Half 1: Second-string spine leads around full strength pack and backline. The first-teamers do nothing but the basics to get fitness. Focus on running and tackling.

Half 2: First-string spine leads around second-string pack and backline. The spine keep it tight and teach the youngsters where to go and what to do.

I don't know. Just seems so pointless to have a trial against your R1 opposition.
