Is it the time for McInnes to start as discussed on Shark cast and here. Why is Blake playing 80 and just shovelling the pill. Can he break a game open.
We need that to happen .
Is it part of Fitzys plan to let McInnes get a year under his belt then use him for 20 as hooker.

might as well try it as I have a feeling we are not quite there yet. We need to lift a level.
f**kn losing to the reverse Cowgirl's still burns for me. It’s the same as the prelim of 99. I cried that day.
I hate the cows.
And chad
And val
And Payten.

but I love 7percent beers ..as evidenced by my ramble .

Mc Average should go back to Saints and play hooker.

Blayke needs to lift his game, but Mc Average is no lock, no lack of effort, just is a hooker and we have one whom should get better, better than average.

Just IMO.

We definitely need more running from BB. 35-40 metres per game is simply not good enough.

One way or another he’s gotta unlock his attacking game (running and kicking) this year.

I agree that it's worth trying. Brailey is coming up on 100 NRL games and I don't think he's kicked on like most thought he would.

Jury is still out on whether we kept the right brother.

How's the third brother going?

Well considering B1 has missed a stack of footy through injury this past 2 years and B2 is very durable (touch wood) I reckon we’ve pulled the right rein. Once Fitz has his defensive structures firmly in place after another offseason the need for B2 to make 50 plus tackles per game should be reduced. I know I’d be f**ked if I had to make that many tackles per game!

Pretty good defensive structures at strom and they weren't committing their #1 hooker to 80 minutes of tackling forwards, but I hope you are right.

Yeah
BTR did not need to pay.

That hair, the ladies swooning, they bought him drinks.....
..I remember one year he posted a new years list ..

He's been a bit unlucky with injury but I don't think he's injury prone.

We kept B2 because he's supposed to be an attacking weapon but we've rarely seen anything more than glimpses of it.

He's a stout defender and punches well above his weight and his service is very good but if they were the most important metric than we should have probably kept B1 who probably would have been cheaper.

I hope I'm wrong and Fitz has a plan for him this year.

Low minutes from Fifita, Hunt up u till the back half of the season and carrying Tricky for a 5 min stint really f**ked up our bench rotation this year.
Better chance at seeing McInnes start the opening 25 then come back on for the last 30 min at lock.

I've got young ones so I can't get out of the house much atm. I'm going back and watching our season. Just finished the Parra game and what struck me was how fresh Brailey was. He made two line breaks in the first half

28-30 weeks later of 50 tackles we just didn't see that. If Harry Grant can suck it up and come off the bench I think we should look at it. McInnes is the perfect fit for the first 20 then move to 13 role and a fresh Brailey could really do some damage. I just don't know how he would handle it mentally as he seems so.... quiet.

OMG. That 12 Wishes Sharkcast is summed up in that one sentence. It was the most fluffed up audio version of a game day thread I've heard. A real circle jerk where they all just mostly hopped on each other's bandwagons.

Sack him, sell him, elevate him, change this, change that and nothing they said hadn't already been said here or there all year.

Gone so far downhill since my old foe newman left.

But it’s has me wondering about the use of BB this year. I can’t seem to fk s the reason that he was playing 80.
I’ve been thinking about roosters Jake friend comparisons, but the game has changed even in such a short time.
For mine Api is the best hooker in the game. Better than overrated Grant and the block of cheese . Apis deception and guile is second to none . It keeps the defence guessing. With the way BB was used there’s no guessing.
It’s pass first run second, kick….who knows.

It may have been something as simple as letting the style behind him settle and gel. He may given different instructions and KPIs next year.

Not being one to shy away from controversy I'd say half the problem/issue/whatever would centre around the demands Nicho made on getting the ball as he was "the man" at the centre of everything the side did.

He'll be much easier to defend in 2023 as the other sides people will have picked him to bits on video over the off season.

I'm not concerned about Brailey because I think Fitz and Nicho will be smart enough to tweak the style and introduce other threats to de focus defences

Except the criticism on BBs attack predates Nicho.

I’m certain Fitz et al want more out of him, just that he hasn’t delivered yet. Nicho doesn’t strike me as a bloke who blows up deluxe if he’s not fed the pill either.

My take is it’s a confidence thing, pure and simple. You often see BB in the middle of an incisive run stop, prop and give off to a runner in a worse position. The young buck just needs to back himself and i don’t mind the option of giving him a breather to press the point. The good thing about our roster is we don’t need to do that every game. Horses for courses.
