LOL @ Madrid conceding a draw right at the death (although they got the away goal), but SUCKED IN lol.

 Your taking the p!ss right?
Drawing away in a frozen Russia, getting an away goal in the process is better than some run of consecutive UCL wins for Madrid.

I keep telling you all, Moscow is a very difficult place to play. The best of teams rarely win there. Even the best of players struggle in sub-zero conditions... That said, they'll probably progress 6-1 on aggregate now, but the away leg was never gonna be easy...

3-1 Napoli. Not at all surprising and they were unlucky to not win 4-1 with that goal-line clearance...

Deer in headlights  obviously I didn't follow the PL results over the weekend closely enough

Lol utd haven't lead the league for a long time now.
City have always been 1st because of goal difference.

Chelsea's defending was absolutely dire. Should have lost by more. How biased was Gary Neville's commentary tho hahahaha

Ok let's put this into perspective. At this time of year, the average temp in Moscow is -3, in Madrid, it's 2 (celcius). I don't think a difference of 5 degrees will be too difficult for players to adapt to as they've played in all extremes before!

So you are trying to make out that Madrid are weak because they drew away in Russia against a team that has troubled some top teams recently, in a hostile stadium where, funnily enough, that extra five degrees in a foreign country would actually be very significant to any individual.
Don't believe me? The difference between 25' celsius and 30' celsius in Australia is quite noticeable, no?
You are being overly pedantic.

Napoli have good away form in the CL as well. Very tough to beat anywhere, I wouldn't want to face them in the 1/4 if they make it.

Lol@you think Man U are leading the EPL despite sitting second

Franco take the ADVANTAGE back to Madrid, you realise this?

Oh yes I realise that, however that one goal that they conceded at the death will do MASSIVE favors to Moscow heading into the 2nd leg - you can't deny that.

Well each to their own. in Australia, 25 is mild, 30 is hot, 2 and -3 are both freezing!

BDOGFORCE^As far as I'm aware, the away goal works in favour of RM, not CSKA. But seriously, they are going to get thumped at Bernabeu.

Nothing has changed for CSKA. If it ended 1-0 Real, they still have to attack 2nd leg. 1-1, no difference, they have to attack. Real won't resort to playing on the counter, but CSKA are f**ked either way you look at it

What a disgrace the SBS commentary was this morning. So one sided and ignorant. Typical British pundits who lack even the most basic knowledge about teams outside of the UK.

Surely these guys should have to do some basic research? FMD it is embarrassing.

f**k me it's balanced out when Foster is around, back in the day when Liverpool were actually in the Champions League was always laughable hearing him bemoan our play as we knocked out his favourites

I was refering to the home goal favoring CSKA... not the away goal favoring RM... everyone knows how crucial away goals are

But thats my point, how can you have a home goal as an advantage? Even mentally, thats not an advantage, as they still have to go away attack. The only way teams have survived a bollocking from superior ones is by gaining a clear advantage at home going into the 2nd leg where their opponent has to attack. In this tie, they have to go and find a goal, at least.

Anyway, agree to disagree, but theyre in shit either way you look at it.

That was the first time I've heard Gary Neville commentate, and even City fans this season has been waxing lyrical about what a breath of fresh air he's been and how good a commentator he is.

He was absolute shit.

The barrow he was pushing about "oh apart from Cavani, Levezzi, and Maggio, Napoli don't have much" was disgraceful. If you take Silva, Aguero, and Toure out of City, or Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta out of Barca, I'm sure they become more beatable. Absolute f**kwit.
