Puyol is a FREAKING LEGEND! He sees his goalie in trouble and came from no where to clear the ball and make the save.

BTW what's with the Milan players hair? It looks like a drunk mohawk!?

How the hell was that not handball? He had his hands up in the air like he was performing a block in a game of volleyball FFS.

Criminal non-decision.

Well this is f**ked. A goal off an obvious handball and now all this! I can't see us coming back from this, not even in Camp Nou.

We were absolutely terrible tonight, just tried dribble the ball into the net instead of trying to convert the half chance

Yeah that's the worst ive seen Barcelona play in the Champs League for a long time. They seem to have run out of ideas against the "parked bus" tactic.

Is it the death of football again like last year?
Hey I wasn't complaining that there wasn't an El Clasico CL final last year... I even stated that Barcelona were in a winning position and that we lost - Chelsea won fair and square. Losing to Inter and now AC in the CL is a big blow to us!

Yeah i know.

I'd thought i'd get it in there before the meltdown happened.

Out of the the ties so far i'd say only Juventus are definitely through.

The rest could go either way.

Well alright, Arsenal are going to struggle but an early away goal....

... yes ok, they are going to really struggle out there.

But other than those two, the rest can go anyway.

Good stuff.

So good seeing Barca lose lol
Hopefully AC can get an early goal in the second leg which should secure their progression.

Wouldn't benefit us at all because those clubs would get more TV money (your TV revenue increases as you progress through the tournament) and thus have more to spend come the summer. As for the co-efficient argument, unless PSG/Juve/Inter/Milan win every UCL for the rest of the decade (and the PL clubs bomb out dramatically), England will have 3+1 spots.

So based on your arguments are you telling me you were supporting Chelsea in last year's final?
I wanted them to get to the final (for the sake of my 2nd point, deep runs make teams lose focus domestically) and it was a big part of the reason they finished so low in the league but I wanted them lose in the final once they got there.

I really doubt it was 'a big part' of the reason they did poorly in the league.
Might have contributed a little but there were other factors, CL was not a big part.

I was very impressed with Milan this morning. Credit to Allegri that he's been able to turn the side around so dramatically after Galliani sold everyone off.

That being said, Barca can definitely win by 2 goals in the return. The problem for them though is this Milan side is probably the best they've faced in the last 4 years and can score from anywhere, meaning they may need 4 goals to go through.

good young team that have taken half a season to gel after Galiani's fire sale

up to 4th in Serie A now as well and one spot above Inter, second goal was pretty skilful and not even I expected a result like this

still a way to go but this will give the boys some confidence
