Yes very amusing. Here's what happened when we played them in the Round of 16:

It was a very poor madrid team back them, it would be like Livo versing them now.

I must say the idea of Scouse fans laughing at United getting knocked out of the champs league by Real Madrid is amusing.

Obviously as a United fan i was less than impressed by the ref, and i just wish i had a Suarez hat-trick vs Wigan and a game vs Oldham that was nearly won as a highlight of my season.

I just have to make do with being 12 points clear and having future games vs Madrid in the champs league to worry about. Darn.


With regards to game, i thought we were comfy over both legs until the ref remembered his orders.

Oh well.

Galatasaray are also through. With Sneijder and Drogba they will cause their opponents some difficulty.

Have to feel a bit sorry for Milan. That 60 second turn around between the shot off the post and the 2nd goal for Barca was heartbreaking stuff. After that, you just knew nothing would stop barca.

I now look forward to Madrid and Barca being conveniently on the opposite side of the draw and equally conveniently being drawn to play their 2nd legs at home.
