I was sure we'd draw Helsingborgs, what with the Larsson connection and all. Stoked that the first leg is away, knowing a point in Sweden would seal qualification.

Watched a large part of the game this morning. Talk about a yawnfest.

Stopped watching it midway through the second half and that's something given that as a west ham fan i am used to watching rubbish games :sarcasm:

Pot 2 - Valencia, Benfica, Shaktar, Zenit, Schalke, City, Braga, Kyiv
Pot 3 - Olympiacos, Ajax, Anderlecht, Juve, Spartak, PSG, Lille, Galatasaray
Pot 4 - Celtic, BVB, BATE, Dinamo Zagreb, Cluj, Malaga, Montpellier, Nordsjaelland

Fingers crossed for a group of death containing any team from Pot 1, City, PSG/Juve, and BVB.

I understand it's seeded based on the co-efficients but it's just not right that the Champions of the 3 best leagues in Europe are in the one group whilst others have only one national league winner.

Happy to get Shakhtar, Juventus and Nordsjælland, although the away trips are a bit inconvenient. We're in Denmark three days after visiting the Emirates, and have Spurs away and Man U at home either side of our trip to Donetsk

Good to get those long trips out of the way early though, a draw at each would do the job

But for the record, we were horrible. I thought I was watching Atletico v West Ham. We were ripped to shreds

I don't believe they can go the distance. They haven't got the depth and will burn out towards the end of the season much like Athletic Bilbao did at the end of last season...
