I enjoy my self time to time. But I got screwed over this semester with the exchange. Need to keep my GPA above a certain percentile else no scholarship. It's f*cked.

I mean, I can flunk it and get a $500 scholarship, or do well and get a $5000 or $10000 one. Which, is free to use as I please. Would pretty much give me a few extra holidays/trips while abroad.

In all seriousness, though, you make a good point.

Having sexual intercourse with an animal seems strange or bizarre to most of the population, but it's certainly not as bad as forcing drugs into their systems or cooking and eating them.

And on a tangent, some studies have shown that homosexual people are born the way they are - ergo, they should not feel ashamed to be the way they are.

I wonder whether an extension of those studies would find similar things regarding paedophiles, folks into beastiality, etc. I mean, if (and it's a can of worms) people who are into animals are born that way and cannot control themselves, then, as foreign as it seems to us, do we really have the right to judge?

Conundrum.

Makes sense.

I hate rapists and paedophiles, but I recognise that there is usually some form of catastrophic event in their childhood which accelerated their descent into depravity, and while it does not excuse their behaviour, it paints the legal ramifications of it all a certain shade of grey.

back when I was in uni and working at seaworld a kiddy fiddler was seen by a staff member grabbing a small child in the wrong areas.

Unfortunately the staff member was a 62 year old women in retail and manage to disappear before help arrived to her and wasn't in a place covered by security footage.

If I or a good chunk of the other staff had of seen him I would beaten seven shades of shit out of him to a point where everytime he tries to speak, stand, walk or it is a bit chilly in prison he would be reminded of me.

If you want a serious response Drew then this would pretty much be mine. Yes it's absolutely disgusting and repulsive to your average human, no this is not grounds to ban it. Inter-species lovin' is not exactly unheard of in the animal kingdom. We do much worse things to animals and no other animal makes a big deal out of sex other than us.
