Until someone invents a scanning device that can scan for every disease or ailment known to man people will have to put up with getting a wrong diagnosis. Doctors aren't super human. Most of the time it is about ruling things out to narrow it down to what the actual problem could be.

My comment, at least, was more towards the generally lax attitude of GPs. I understand they're human and there are literally thousands of things to consider, but most GPs I visit give you a cursory glance and send you on your way.

Most GPs I've gone to are generally pretty good. They'll usually tell me if I need to see a specialists of some kind, get an x-ray or if there's nothing to worry about.

Going to a GP is more about ruling things out than finding out what's wrong for me.

Algolagnia? The way it works "supposedly" is very interesting. A way in which the brain interprets pain signals as pleasurable leading to psychological effects. Hence, them wanting pain signals, it increases there sexual pleasure.

I can't say I'm particularly experienced with or fond of either. I've been quite experimental in my bedroom history, but never delved particularly deeply into this area of it. A few times I've taken on a dominant role in a role-play situation (teacher/naughty student, cop/criminal etc) but they've been few and far between.

I've never tried submission, but I feel like it wouldn't really be for me.

never had any interest in dom stuff. Closest ive been is being dragged up by a leather caldded stripper at a work night out and decided to cover me in oil and start beating me with my belt which she then nearly took my eye out with and had to go see a doctor about the next day and was in bad shape for a few days. Also slipped in her heels on the oil and sliced my head open with the tip of them and slipped again and went knee first into my junk from a decent height.

I can't recall where I read it, but I've heard guys who are particularly dominant in life are typically more likely to be submissives in the bedroom than guys who are submissive in life.

I think it's just wanting what you can't have in your day to day life. If you're always in control publicly, maybe sometimes you want to not have to 'worry' about being in control.
