Nooope. She kept trying to c**k-block me last night whenever she saw me around another girl, but eventually got too drunk and staggered off.

When I wasn't otherwise occupied, I had to counsel my poor 17 year old protege through his first encounter with a girl 'really liking you, but continually hooking up with other guys when drunk'.

I work in a firm now, it's worth doing if you can get in so you aren't fighting other graduates for jobs when you're done.

Group assignments, still the bane of my existence. In a group this semester that includes two people where English is their second language. They sent me their parts of the assignment and it's pretty bad, poor grammar (occasionally to the point of not even understanding what they're talking about) and is pretty weak at answering the questions. Currently sitting here trying to convert their submission to proper English. The remaining person in the group did a decent job at answering some of the questions but for whatever reason their spelling/grammar/general academic writing style is pretty shit too.

Seriously what is with these people. Why the f**k do I always get put with people who suck. Last year in a similar position I just took over and did 90% of it myself (see earlier in the thread) but I can't be f**ked this time :crazy:

Go overseas and do a few group project assignments in a foreign language yourself. Come back and appreciate the effort these guys and gals are putting in just to give you what they have.

Yes I know it sucks, I've been there too, but having a dig at them is not the answer. If you have to have a dig at someone, have a dig at the uni.

I've got the same tutor for two different subjects and she does my head in. Just a negative person who drones on and on with her own self importance and seems to delight in singling people out and berating them.

Given tutes aren't compulsory, I'm thinking I'll just blow her classes off and use the external materials. Can't be arsed dealing with a naggy, post-menopausal cow twice a week.
