Unprofessionalism

I observed a few of the players at the Gala dinner and Locke had the look of a delinquent. But to be fair most of the other guys seemed down to earth, friendly and easy going.

Owen Glenn was the most worrying of the lot as it happens. His "girlfriend" was hot though.

I have no problem with Taylor. Said it straight.
Has a great work-ethic and is well respected by the players.
Why discipline a good role model.
It's the brats that need the boot.

Yep, getting stuck into Taylor is shooting the messenger. But it tars all the players with the reputation now, like a name suppression. So name em, shame em IMO

Taylor was great at the Gala. Popped round to all the tables to talk to anyone he'd been involved with during the season etc. Showed genuine interest and friendliness. Gave a bloody good speech too (although nothing could top Michael Luck's tour de force).

That is half of the squad and they are speaking the truth
Yes - they are not perfect and need to learn a few things.

But they arent robots... nor will they ever be robots
It is going to be some interesting times

Wait, you have to be a robot to not undermine your brand new coach on a public forum?

What are the senior players at the Warriors upto ? This sort of crap should have been nipped in the bud long ago

If we look at the 2 most successful sides of recents times, how do you think a young guy turning up with this kind of attitude would last around the likes of Smith, Cronk, Watmough, King, Stewart etc ?

Well for one they aint shooting their mouths off on twitter. Lillyman and Friend have very deliberately not busted out ill informed tweets this morning.

Apparently Luck seriously tried to intervene last year, but wasn't listened to?

One of the problem with the club is that it seems like the inmates run the asylum.

Blokes like Rapira, Lillyman, Friend and Vatuvei need to step up. Blokes like Locke and Johnson need to shut up.

Yep sick of these idiots.

That's the main reason I was hoping for Bellamy, he would give them a bloody hiding and then some.

Need to get Steve Price in and sort out the shit.

These guys don't realize how lucky they are to be playing first grade. They don't have any passion for the game.

Supposedly this is a new era for the Warriors so with O G in town now would be a good time for the boss to give these smartarses the message -It won't make any difference to some & they will pay for their arrogance but it may just help a few see the stupidity of their actions.

Probably because thats basically what he is - it's been mentioned in previous interviews with coaches that he comes from a pretty tough background. Cleary did a very good job of straightening him out enough to blossom as a footballer in 2011, but he still admitted that managing Nobby was something of an ongoing project, and it seems like Bluey didn't keep him on ashort enough leash.
In Johnson's case it's more just that he got hyped up too quickly and his ego needs checking.
Taylor and Packer worry me less, they're just young passionate but they need to know when not to open their mouths.

Pritchard has been pretty cutting of Elliot's appointment on twitter. Seems he most definitely does not like him

this..

But who do you think MADE THESE BRATS .. .you talk about????
They are both products of the warriors.

Warriors are responsible ....for making them feel like superstars from day dot.
Still happening now.

The Junior warriors still make brats. They need to get rid of Ackland
Omar Slaimankhel anybody..... Carlos, Siliva, Taukieaho are just the next bunch of players who get away with wat ever they want.

These kids are all talented and deep down great kids. But they arent made to develop properly in the juniors warriors.

Physically most of them are in good shape etc. but football wise they dont learn enough.
Get given free rein and play dumb football.

This is the biggest problem - lack of development.

Warriors need to take over the vulcans...make these superstar earn their entry with genuine local players who are on nothing.
