Penrith have landed a blow in the recruitment market with Kiwi test star
Isaiah Papali'i to join the defending premiers from the start of 2025.
The 2021 Dally M Second Rower of the Year was under contract at Wests Tigers until the end of 2025 but will make the move early to the Panthers from next season after he was given permission to negotiate an early release.
“We’re thrilled to have secured Isaiah’s services for the next three seasons,” Panthers Rugby League
CEO Matt Cameron said. “Not only does Isaiah bring a wealth of experience and leadership capabilities to our club, but he’s also a world-class forward who has proven himself at the highest level.”
Papali'i joined Wests Tigers from Parramatta in 2021, and will bring up his 150th NRL game later this year having debuted for the Warriors in 2017.
