Lol holy shit I've been reading your post wondering what you mean and I've just spotted my unintentional joke.

My intention wasn't to state that West Africans are fast because they spent their days running from slavers; but rather that genetically speaking they seem to be much bigger and more powerful than Sub Saharan Africans.

And given that's where the slave trade ports were I'm assuming that's where African Americans originated specifically. And by extension given the shared ancestry it's easy to see why the best African sprinters also come from that region, i.e. Ghana, Nigeria...

As for any benefits to the NRL if he makes it in the NFL, they're just as laughably non-existent as when Hayne left. A good player leaving the game at their peak is not a good thing.

This is true. Hayne going to NFL converted a lot of League fans to NFL and very few if any NFL fans to League.
In the long run I think that could be good for NRL because we need to start following the NFLs lead rather than AFLs, who themselves are usually stealing concepts from NFL.
