Most of them are linemen though I thought? Nowhere near as many in skill positions. There should be a tonne of Polynesian running backs and receivers.
Plus, the Samoans that are there are generally the American Samoan kids who come through college. They should be tapping all the poly kids like rugby currently does.
I can only think of 2 Poly guys that I'd consider starters and aren't OLs or DTs.. Manti Te'o, Saints LB (this is the catfish guy) and Albert Wilson, Dolphins WR. About 7 linemen starters (Iupati, Buckner, Shelton, Halapio, Tevi, Stanley, Vea.. maybe Vaitai at Eagles LG also). edit: there's a guy on the Lions that got overdrafted and might get pushed into starting at LB because they're awful at LB. Forget his name.
Tua seems like the slam dunk #1 overall pick in the 2020 draft at this point, though - and his brother is highly touted also (both QBs). And there's a fair chance of seeing another LB as a starter in 2020 (Takitaki on the Browns, no way they keep the Kirksey contract and Takitaki is the kind of psycho that will hurt Lamar Jackson).
Not really up to the NFL about tapping up these kids though... that's on the college system. I'd be interested to see some of the college programs that get locked out of the 4/5 star recruit market go look at talent elsewhere.. but they seem fairly insular for the most part.
