He ran like 3 times from Dummy half?
18m running with 8m from Johnson.
These two patheric.
Bull's getting points this week. Our 'killer' spine? It's not happening. Sheck looks confused.

Like Phil was saying, Johnson playing by himself can be part of the reason for no one around to trap Oates for the repeat set. Basically the chase didn't know where he's gonna kick and it didn't look like he talked to others as well. However the forwards did seem tired tonight.Surely McFadden has a rule about no backing up or supporting your team mates...because f**k me they were unenthusiastic.

Tompkins would've gone good for us at 6 I reckon but he's gone. Our attack looks terrible without Tomkin's.
Our defence at the back looks the same without Tomkin's.
RTS is better I'm sure.....just not seen how yet.....where Tomkin's slipped over RTS flat out misses one on one tackles.....so they are even there, let's see RTS chime in from the back like the pom then hey ,,? Or don't s kick return meters supercede orchestrating Try's in an NRL team ?
Not how I saw it. Defence focussed on Boyd, especially the first one.
Boyd gambled to Oates, and Oates paid off, both times. He is a big alert unit for a winger.
Those two avoided repeat sets were massive in influencing the result.
We definitely needed the repeat set to gain and build some momentum.
I was referring to Matulino and the middles (8, 9, 10) and why they got there late. You'll notice Johnson is the 1st one to arrive and front the chip taker, no one's there cos I don't think the players are always aware of where he's chipping it.

NRL stats, cranky boy..
1 run for 8 metres....
Pretty sure that is not coach instruction.
Mutiny I tell yell.
It's how the back line is set up for the play, which I assume Johnson should be setting up or calling.
If the backline is deep you are looking at a running play not a kick through the line, if it's not on and not the last tackle pass and reset for next play, draw men left and go back right, try to create something.
The kick through is not a bad option if everyone is onboard for it.
We seem to have very little football brains out there running the show.
Lolohea not a winger.
Back to the repeat set thing..we got the Storm next week...the Storm normally bat any in goAL chip or bomb dead but after tonight, they might fancy passing it to Taumoepeau to run it out..or even worse, Koroibete!
Maybe. I might rewind the tape later, (it may have been a 4th tackle opportunity that SJ saw) but even then, but more likely if it was a 5th tackle option for now I'll opine that the new rules speeding the game up and reducing the interchange are possibly to blame for only 3 or 4 kick chasers than SJ not calling his play in advance.
Either way, both times the fullback was not getting out of the in goal - Boyd gambled, Oates was very strong and alert.
I have theory Young Shaun has cracked the shytes as they took the 7 off him ( whilst you all think it means nothing if f**king does) and played accordingly. This should be of great concern, why did he not run? It is the best part of his game...
He wants Cappy gone for doing it and will not play as runner until then. Young men can bring old men down when they consider to be to an injustice...he will not run until Cappy is gorn IMO....Somebodt tell Wally Lewis is an Immortal.
