Vs Manly Rd 5

Yeah bit strange if he has trimmed down because he is playing a lot less minutes this year so seems to defeat the purpose of trimming down.
Doesn't seem to be running the same attacking lines into holes this year?
He is running straight at tacklers and not at angles to gaps or off playmates hips

What a disappointment. Just nothing in attack. I thought the effort was there and you could see it in defence

Watching Coach Brown in the press conference, while he didn’t name anyone, reading between the lines, you’d think Niko will be gone.
He was fine with the defence, but not happy with attack, I like his honesty when asked about the Challenge on Ken being overturned that it was rough but we had ample opportunity to score points.
Not sure Niko will be gone vs O'Sullivan, purely based on experience?
But something had to give as its a shambles out there.
This new Broncos kid to full back and RTS to 6 if Nikorima gone.

Some thoughts on our attack:
  • Our forwards never got a roll on, most struggled to reach 100m
  • Very few offloads, and the ones we did have were largely out the back to someone with a line in front of them (look as Paseka’s, he pokes his nose through and passes to someone who’s running through the line)
  • Kodi not taking the line on
  • SOS taking the line on and no one going with him. After scoring that try players should have been running off him as the defence were more aware...yet nothing
  • Egan overplaying his hand. Too many useless darts, or poor decision making
  • Several balls going to ground from dummy half - Egan and Jazz
  • No creativity - no set plays or practiced moves. The only inside ball I saw was to Kane Evans?
  • RTS trying to do too much as the rest of the team were poor on attack

Another thing, I hate now we have professional coverage of all the games until we hit a Warriors game and we are subjected to that absolute dross they put out instead of the Fox coverage

Cracked me up last night, “stay here for Panthers v Raiders or flick to Sky Sport 5 for our post match”, not 1 thumb in the country looked for the remote

"The Verdict
New Zealand should be too good for a Manly team in absolute dire straits. The Warriors tend to hold form off scoring well and do play well at Gosford. Manly are awful off conceding 36 or more. They are an absolute sieve and the injuries are piling up. If the Warriors have their minds on this one they can win by as much as they want.

The Prediction
New Zealand by 16"

Manly are awful off conceding 36 or more. What the f**k does that mean? It looks like a computer algorithm and not a human put that shit up. Like you get in fantasy football recaps.

What I truly regret is not putting my life savings on DCE winning that game with a field goal. It was written in the stars.

Yeah, as soon as they got the 12-12, I knew we were toast.

Nikorima and Murchie's errors cost up big

Well we now know it’s another crap season.

Nathan Brown has doubled down on Kearney's strategy of playing props on the wings. He has added 2 props in the centres

How many bloody runs are our wingers taking? The worst part is when it was Ken’s time to run and chase he had nothing in the tank.

BMM and Ah Mau made one or two decent hit ups, should have been more like 20

First three words are the truth, no mistake

presumably the next 5 reflect their performance until the mighty Warriors showed up

To be fair we have lost Hiku and Atiken in the centres.
I don't know if there was much of a game plan last night, which is on the coach.

agree, injuries have created a challenge in the centres but surely we don’t want 4 players in the backline who are playing a very similar style - bashing it up with some passion to be fair

but what about giving Turner or Perham a go to have something a little different

we are so predictable, the opposition team knows exactly how to defend against us
