Vs Panthers rnd 17

Wow, didn't see this coming and am blown away, thought this would be the year the Warriors didn't fall away in the final 8 rounds. Important last 10mins coming up, already down to 7th spot and differential into the negatives

Hiku, haven't seen a defensive effort this poor for a while, unbelievable. That side of the field has been destroyed. 1st half the refs dusted you up but this 2nd half has been, dare I say it, the 'old warriors', diabolical

SJ has been atrocious tonight all round

Must say I wasn't filled with confidence when they scanned across to the box and see Iro, Kearney and McFadden there to turn it around

This halfback from the Panthers has been outstanding, can see a lot of clubs coming knocking about him

Any sports science out there on time zone difference and game time.
Not the whole reason but must be part of it.
So bad so so bad.

4 things.
1.Killed in the penalty count in the first half again. Our fault? Unfortunately the refs have been penalising us like crazy all year. We may have won one penalty count all year.
2. lost the battle in the middle after a good 20min arm wrestle.
3. Inefficient with the ball. Led to no breaks in game after tries which led to fatigue coming on sooner.
4. Back to back line dropouts and penalties blew our arse out and we never recovered from the extra 50 tackles made in the first half.
And maybe 5. After effects of a tough Sharks game the previous week.

the sad thing is that Penrith were diabolical last week and you knew they would not play like that 2 weeks in a row, no matter who was missing.

The two forward pass calls on us also killed us.

Missed Harris helping Hiku out.
But if Hiku sees game time again this year bar injury we are done.

No one was running hard at the line.

Line speed was non existant.

We still need 3 wins from 8 games to make the top8.
We play like that the rest of the season we are done.

We've somehow overachieved this year against lots of worrying signs

I've been a skeptic but fully expected us to win well given Penrith's missing team, thought they'd play well but a good team would weather it and beat them

Pretty poor really might be we're a myth this year

When was the last Super Bowl player on the West Coast with at least one East Coast team? Or NBA.
Super bowl is 2 weeks after the conference finals.
I'm not sure of teams scheduling, but I'm sure they show up more than 48 hour before the game if they are in a different time zone.

Varies, during the season they can play Auckland Friday, Sydney Wednesday and Perth Saturday. A championship series is generally a 3-5 day gap between games with a flight from Auckland to Perth in there
I dont know enough about Basketball to judge eg interchanges limitations, time outside etc. I feel it's a slightly different beast, but lessons could be learnt I'm sure by their prep by Warriors.

I have listened to Sir David Brailsford who dragged British cycling up from the depths and the little things they do was impressive.

If Warriors where to do one of the things they implemented.
We would have a hotel in Sydney, Melbourne etc we always stay in.
Each player would sleep on the same mattress (yes ship them around the country) and we would have our own cleaning team move in to set the rooms up.

Some of the little things they did seemed like they wouldn't do much but they all added up.

Complete myth, we have lost to ever single team in the top 8 in our last outing against them.
