vs Panthers

Care factor is almost zero. Our start to the season cost us more than anything else. It's just not possible to go on a 7/8 run when nearly every game is a must win season defining game without it coming back to mentally bite you on the ass towards the end of the season.

Roll on 2014. Maybe after an off season I might care again.

So forward pass made a difference!
Sad when refs make the difference.
Even though we didn't deserve it on the back of bad defense.
Don't deserve to make the 8 when you can't win home games, would just be making up the numbers!

Disgraceful performance, I can't remember a lazier effort from us with so much riding on this game. That's basically the season down the toilet.

That was a f**king disgrace. Good thing freo were playing at the same time so I could turn it off.

The fact that we lost by a try, when their first try shouldn't of been allowed, is even more disgraceful. These refs need to f**k right off.

Bring on 2014, but even then I'll be doubtful.

Wow, I was surprised they managed to pack in so many stupid plays. Bring on 2014, the year of Sam Tomkins.

You missed the Cronulla game then?

We're mentally horrible and defensively atrocious across the park. Not a good combination.

I am f**king pissed at the moment, season on the line and we blow it, that combined with the most pathetic refereeing performance I have seen since the semi final against the Tigers. Therefore in the end that first try by the Panthers of a 5 metre forward pass wins them the game and ends our season effectively, I hope Elliott f**king gives it to the refs what's he got to lose, who gives a s**t about the $10000.

Not sure who sucks the most, us or the refs.

Sum it up perfectly, a perfect storm of shit reffing and a lazy team who just doesn't care enough. Just when you can't get more disappointed by them they succeed. Gary Freeman summed it up perfectly at the end of the game and more or less apologised to the fans that turned up on their behalf.
Games like that make you wonder why you bother to tune in and ruin your weekend

I thought this was worse than the Cronulla game, this loss basically ended the season and most of us played like we didn't even care.

I text a few people after 50min and said watch them wake up at about 75min, realise what they've done and try to win it from there when it's too late. Damn I could do Ken Rings job:lol:

Want a Warriors fans perspective on 1 piece of play

Walsh goes for the 40/20, Johnson gets back there, and then proceeds to jog around in goal with the chasers coming, only just makes it back into the field of play and fires a ball across to Locke

If looked lazy and symbolic of the effort being put in out there today, and if it was my team doing it I would be blowing up. Thoughts ?

These type of efforts from Johnson concern me in a world cup environment

I thought it was just as bad that a fullback in Locke then proceeded to run into a gang Panthers tackle, completely upright, 5 or so metres out from his own line. Luckily got saved by a 50/50 call.

I called this out in the game day thread too, I thought it was horrible.
He really has big issues mentally, he just switches off when things don't go for him. I don't think he's got it in him to lead us into the playoffs.

Meanwhile Hoffman does everything at 100% effort, though not always 100% execution. Hoffman > Locke for fullback IMO.

Whats the only the worse than the warriors being down by 12 points? The warriors being up by 12 points...

I've had a stressful 6 months at work. Finally get a break, spending 4 days chilling at Point Lookout North Straddie...Weight of the world off my shoulders. Get home in time to watch the Warriors.... Why oh why LOL.
Oh well back to work tomorrow.

Absolutely correct there too and something I hadn't thought of, Stewart, Minichiello, Slater and co would be putting themselves straight on the deck

Just a personal opinion on Johnson, I think he is highly overrated at the moment. Massive talent but doesn't deliver on it enough and goes missing too often so I thought that might be clouding my judgement on this one
