TBH I just think Johnson was that gassed, ive seen some dawdling before but there was no way he was taking the piss that much.

Anyway Locke is more and more slipping away, that attempt on Mansour's try was pathetic.

I wouldn't mind seeing the stats on the team with the most 40/20s kicked against them. We seem to get caught out or very close to it most weeks.

Not sure if I'll even watch next week , first time ever , why should we put our time and energy into a team who today showed no guts or determination to win at all costs , the team that went 7 straight win is a very different team we saw today. Cant believe with all that was riding on today's game , playing at home Sunday afternoon they couldn't put Penrith away and just let them back into the game and then decide to pay with ten to go.

Typical ?? , yeh probably.

After that we don't deserve a top 8 spot, better luck next year I guess.
I think we need to recruit a couple of hard grafters that never say die and know how to not only grind out a win but put the opposition to the sword, and not be afraid to kick there own team mates up the jackson if they fall asleep during a game.

Want a Warriors fans perspective on 1 piece of play

Walsh goes for the 40/20, Johnson gets back there, and then proceeds to jog around in goal with the chasers coming, only just makes it back into the field of play and fires a ball across to Locke

If looked lazy and symbolic of the effort being put in out there today, and if it was my team doing it I would be blowing up. Thoughts ?

These type of efforts from Johnson concern me in a world cup environment

Lazy play like that is typical of the entire team! There were a few instances today where we let kicks bounce in front of us instead of charging on to them to catch them on the full. The attitude of the entire team is lazy. So disgusting in a game like this one.

Elliott was nearlly in tears at the press conference , that's the most bewildered I've seen him all year.nothing about the refs just that he's "bitterly disappointed with today's result " , he did mention that Ropo will start next week...

I think I made this way back in 2007, but it's also appropriate for today.

But we never deserved to win - I reckon those two early tries made us all switch off and think it was all going to be too easy.

There's still a faint glimmer of hope for the playoffs but even if we win 3/3 in the run home I don't think we should make it. I'd hate the team to think half-hearted pea brained efforts like that are the mark of a Top 8 team.

Something off field maybe?

I just can't explain the sudden drop in intensity and lack of commitment. Everyone in the team bar Friend, Mannering, TL and some of the rookies just play like they don't care anymore.

This keeps standing out to me every week. I watch every team so I'm not sure if I justice notice it more with the Warriors because it's the idea that I've come up with in my head or what but it seems every week teams try to exploit the Warriors/Locke with 40/20 kicks and it's pretty useful.

This doesn't seem to give a fair shake on Johnson at all. There's plenty of things you can call Johnson out for but if anything he should be getting credit for getting back for that ball. It's not like he just did this all casually, he had to put in a big effort to even get back to get the ball, then he summed up his options in the in goal and passed it instead of backing himself to get around the guy which was probably the right decision on his part. He looked pretty buggered after it all.

Don't think it showed Johnson as lazy at all, quite the opposite really. Johnson often at least tries to put in big efforts on chases like that one, chasing line breaks etc. There was a big chase he went on in that game also.

Like I said though, Johnson certainly isn't perfect.

Locke really has become a passenger, not showing the effort he did in our winning run, doesn't seem to be hanging around or popping up of Mateo either.

Neilson haters got their game without him, basically Manu did not seem to trust Dom and was caught to many times in off his line.

There seemed to be multiple times we gave them back to back sets, including tries and incompletes by Panthers they had 2 doubles, 2 triple sets, 3 quad sets and 2 pent sets!

Hurrell missed the most tackles with 6, followed by Locke and Dom on 4

Johnson hasn't really learnt to close out a set, being caught on the last was disgrace at a pivotal point in the game.
At least TL has learnt his strengths in his kicking game is not the bomb.

Our forwards have gone to shit again, does Matulino not like coming off the bench? Logical today when Masoe was to put big man on big man.
He really is looking lazy.

Mateo is offering nothing.

Just so very frustrating.

Well it was nice while it lasted.

Mateo started to look keen in the first half, then we lost all that possession and he was off until the 62nd minute so didn't get that many chances. Mind you the stats say 0 hit ups, guess he plays like a half.

I hope today silenced the Neilsen critics, how bad we were on the left edge without him there. The tackle that got him injured was a brilliant shut down tackle, HATERS RECOGNISE.

From what I've read the Warriors commitment wasn't there, but how much can be attributed to Ivan and how much he knows about this team? Surely he's got 4 wins from 4 starts vs the Warriors since the love to Penrith

This, without Neilson we are a circus with our fringe defence. Two reasons our defence stiffened up from last year are him and TL.

I had no problem with Mateo, he looked busy and ready for work. As usual he got pulled off and was bench warming for nearly 40 mins for Super Lowrie. Its ridiculous and needs to stop.

My first thought in the first half was "why is Hurrell charging inward 10 metres to cut off the attack?"

My second thought was "why the f**k is he being asked to cover that much ground to begin with?"

I know our fringe defense is nothing to be proud of but f**k me if it doesn't all start from the middle and ripple outward.

Judging by the score updates I thought it might've been anothe come from behind win.

Over the years the Warriors have had nearly as many come backs as John Farnham
