You'd be surprised, the chatter on the Bears social media was around 90% positive Id say. A few deluded fools thought they could come back in NSW but most are sensible and realize the only way they would ever get back in was in another city.
The perth fans response was positive to start but quickly turned as NS started to lay out what their demands, which is clearly was not to be a WA club. Perth fans want a Perth club. It can be the WA, West Coast or Perth Bears, as long as it is a genuine Perth club in same way Lions and Swans did it. Majority WA owned, rebranded no less than 10 games in Perth, investment in WA pathways. Only way it works.
