Best rectangular stadia in Australia

1. new sfs (Sydney)
2. Commbank (Sydney)
3. New Penrith stadium (Sydney)
4. New stadium north qld
5. Upgraded Brookie
6. Melbourne rectangular stadium
7 titans
8. Suncorp

the drone shots of Suncorp during magic round were a bit meh
I love Suncorp, great views, good facilities, real Bundy on optics and a great pub crawl to get to it. It has everything Id want in a sports stadium!
AAMI is great as well but a bit of a longer trek from the pubs and the roof dripline in the rain is poor, great views from behind the sticks though.
Titans stadium and area around it looks meh.
Looking forward to going to new SFS and Commbank next time I'm in Sydney. I doubt I'll be motivated to go to Brookvale or Penrith.

It’s so refreshing you talking up Sydney clubs now you got one lmao
I've been true to my stance, in an ideal world we wouldn't have 9 clubs in one city, especially with many cities having none or being under represented. Doesn't change that Vlandys is a news puppet and makes decision based on what they want not whats best for the game

When it was built it was the best rugby league stadium

I was there for the opening game cheering on the knights to victory against the broncos

but it’s very dated now. The nsw govt raised the bar with commbank then raised it again with the new sfs

what do they want in your opinion?
And given they arent paying any more money for team 17 I dont think we should really care what they want or dont want!

Go ask anyone from Perth what they want and stop thinking the world revolves around Sydney.

I actually have friends in Perth who I communicate with everyday on social media. They couldn't give a f**k about rugby league. The last thing they would want is their taxes funding a Sydney RL side that died because it had no money of its own and bugger all fans.
I don’t live in Sydney you twerp. By the way I actually have friends in Perth who care about rugby league, want a side and are happy for their taxes to be spent on a team that will bring tourism into the state.

Well the time slot won’t hurt I’ll give you that
They want a ninth game

I’m sure if they could pick they would want another brisbane team

down the track an extra 50 to 100k foxtel subscribers would be great (from wa)

if you want to talk about news puppets that gallop
Or just incompetent leaders Greenberg or the welsh guy whose name I can’t remember

David smith. Don’t think he was a news lackey tbh. Clever bloke who got eaten alive by the vested interests of clubs who at that time couldn’t see past their pokies. He would have been okay in different circumstances. That’s just my opinion though.

The article written by Rothfield said the WA government will underwrite it.

“If you think about it having a government underwrite the team in Western Australia, having the massive corporate support out of Perth, having that red and black jersey, having that great brand, having that logo back, to me it is a no-brainer, I think it would be a fantastic thing for rugby league,” Rothfield said.

I cannot see Western Australians wanting the government to pay one cent for a Sydney club.
You're not a Western Australian, you're a twit from backwards logan, who would take the newtown jets if they offered to represent ipswich hands down ESPECIALLY if the govt was going to pay for it

Sunshine Coast Stadium is getting an upgrade for the 2032 Olympics and will be fit for NRL games.

My guess is Dolphin Oval will be used for 6pm Friday games that wouldn't draw shit at Lang Park. I remember reading that the NRL cannot stage games at Lang Park on a Friday night before 7pm. I think Magic Round is the only exception.

WTF has this got to do with the WA bears!!

And the new camera thingy, the colors were off putting, i watched the sharks v raiders and the raiders jersey was nice and bright on fox cameras, but on the drones it was bland as f**k,
Anyways back to gibbering about dumb loganite on the sydney warpath, he is just butthurt he got booted outta suncorp yesterday, for slurring at hastings... twit

Penrith you have to see, its like a beefed up Liechardt, now i know tht doesn't sound good, but when game time it has a great vibe to it, it actually reminds me of Newcastle a bit, commbank is great, but it lacks something, not sure what it is, its a sort of generic feeling, i only say that coz ive gone there for dogs, souths, tigers and eels games, and its just swapped colors on the signage, none of them really owns it, not like the knights or penrith, you can really feel the difference, im sure you can see the difference between the cowboys and storm compared to somewhere like homebush.. manlys meh, cronullas great, kogarah also meh, i like WIN stadium better, also reminds me of newy but smaller, suncorp is magnificent, went there for magic round in 2018, some of the best games, except for my riff getting belted, and storm puttin 70 on the eels bwahahaha

It wouldn’t be a great idea for a government to underwrite any sporting team but I doubt that is what will happen
